I presume you were updating the firmware on your phone. if the updating process was stopped during its updating then your phone is probably useless.
when this happens it is known as "bricking", your phone can now be used as a door-stopper or a paperweight.

take it to a nokia care centre and see what they can do to repair it.

cheers.

I am holding nokia 5230. I am faceing bluetooth connecting problem " When i turn on the bluetooth it show a message "UNABLE TO PERFORM BLUETOOTH OPERATION". Kindly advise me who to resolve...

This problem can be fix in 2 steps.By updating the firmware or a bluetooth IC replacement.

If you want DIY method for fixing the software,

* download this application to your computer and install it. NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER ,if installation is done, run the software and plug your phone to the computer by using usb cable,be sure internet connection is stable and back up all data first before proceeding, also battery must be full charge to avoid errors. Upon plugging the phone to computer, some driver installation takes place and let it finish, then follow the instruction on screen when updating, then wait until the update is done.

Now if the update is successful and then the bluetooth still don't work, just bring the phone to any service center near you for a complete diagnose and troubleshooting. They know what will do further.

For any question, please reply here to know the status of your mobile,

My phone turns on , shows the nokia screen , then the screen goes white and then its turns off. please help

Hi, most problems with mobile phones when it turns white and goes off, is usually a problem with "VIRUS"on your mobile phone.

Causes are when your using mobile internet and you decide to do some downloads on your mobile, or can be through transferring DATA from a phone to another phone, transferring from PC to phone with out you noticing that you have downloaded VIRUS with applications without scanning for VIRUS before uploading it on your mobile phone.

So in this process, VIRUS then affects the cell phones memory and cell phones starts malfunctioning by switching off when you try to put it on,or make calls..

To rectify and solve this problem to be able to restore back the lost memory of then mobile phone, you will need to flash the cell phone.

Flashing the phone will restore back the phone to it normal state.

You can use this link to see how to flash your phone

Flashing a cell phone will erase carrier data from the memory. Cellular companies can usually do this for a fee. Online buyer sites sell the software kit that will flash a cell phone from home computers.

To flash a phone you will need to rewrite the PRL file by connecting your phone to a computer with the needed equipment. Your best bet is to take your phone to a dealer that flashes phones on a regular basis. For more information

My nokia 3310c when dowloading applications, after reaching 100% download it shows a message application error.

It means the application installer not compatible with your phone. i.e. the application file is .sisx for Symbian S60v3 which is not compatible with your device. Or the file is broken or outdated.

When you download any application software, make sure its compatible with your phone. Your device can only install JAVA application so you can download application with .jar extension. And choose application with proper size for your screen (128x160 pixels), if its too big, it wouldn't able to be installed too.

Hope this help and if helpful RATE please.

My nokia 5230 keeps saying phone memory is full and to delete some data but dont know how to

Switch off the phone, remove the memory card, and turn back on again. Now try again with the phone features like opening messages, opening gallery etc..etc.. it should work fine. If there's no problem without the memory card, then backup the contents of the memory card on your computer and format the Memory card, after you are done with formatting, restore the files and reinsert it on the phone, that will fix the problem. [you'll need a card reader to do this]

But if inserting/removing the memory card doesn't make any difference, then you better update the mobile firmware or flash the set. If you are not sure what you are doing and if you don't have experience updating a nokia mobile's firmware, please don't do it, better take it to a mobile repairing center or service center and get it done from them, otherwise a little mistake may bring fatal error/damage to the phone. Moreover it take a lot of time updating the firmware.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.
