Question about Creative Labs ZEN V Plus MP3 Player
I turned on my Zen and paused the song that was playing. When I went to play the song, nothing happened. I tried to go back to the menu, nothing happened. I tried to shut if off, I tried to unpause it, I tried the reset button, nothing happened. I tried to connect it to my computer, and my computer says it is not connected. It will not shut off. The display says "Now Playing", the song title and artist that was paused, and under the battery life indicator are the letters "EQ". There is no lock symbol on the display. I read the book and it stated that the battery is embedded, and not to attempt to remove it. So I haven't. If I let the battery go dead, will that reset it?
After 3 1/2 hours, the battery went dead. I waited a couple of minutes, then plugged it into my computer to see if the battery would charge. It started charging. A few hours later I went back to check on it, and it showed a full battery. I disconnected it from my computer, and turned it on. It came on, but the screen just said "Low Battery". I then plugged it back into my computer, and the screen said "Rebuilding Library". I left it for about a 1/2 hour, and it was done. I unplugged it from my computer, turned it on, and it works now!! Hope this helps out everyone else who has the same problem.

EQ is something you can set up to make the sound of your songs better..well, sounding. It can add a base boost, vocals clearer to hear, etc. It won't effect your player or music. You set that on yourself. Ex: I have EQ by my battery sign b/c I set the EQ on "New Age" in the System. (You can take it off by going into system, and going to audio settings.)
I just recommend that you should try letting the battery run out, and it will most likely reset itself. My player did that too, and I totally freaked out. I thought that it was broken, but I hooked it up and it just needed to be docked.
