Question about Creative Labs ZEN V Plus MP3 Player
I turned on my Zen, and paused the song that was playing. When I went to play the song, nothing happened. It is stuck on "Now Playing" the song title, and there are the letters EQ in the upper right hand corner under the battery life indicator. I have tried to turn off the player, I have tried the reset button on the side below the volume, and I have tried to unpause, and go back to the menu, nothing happens. It is completely locked up. There is no lock symbol on the screen. When I plug it into my computer, the computer says it is not connected. I read the book, and it says the battery is embedded, and not to attempt to remove it, so I haven't. If I just let the battery run out, will it reset itself?
EQ is something you can set up to make the sound of your songs better..well, sounding. It can add a base boost, vocals clearer to hear, etc. It won't effect your player or music. You set that on yourself. Ex: I have EQ by my battery sign b/c I set the EQ on "New Age" in the System. (You can take it off by going into system, and going to audio settings.)
I just recommend that you should try letting the battery run out, and it will most likely reset itself. My player did that too, and I totally freaked out. I thought that it was broken, but I hooked it up and it just needed to be docked.
