Question about Dell Dimension 3000 PC Desktop
There is nothing, no lights anything. I have removed the panel and there is also no indicator light on. Also, does the monitor have to be hooked up to the computer in order for it to work

Sounds like you have a bad power supply. If your computer is plugged in and you turn it on and nothing happens then replace your power supply and all will be well. And yes the monitor needs to be plugged into a outlet and also the back of the computer to work.
