Problem for Sony KV-32S42 32" TV
Dmtech TV is stuck in stanby mode
I can't turn the TV on. No matter how many times I press the on/standby button or use the remote, the TV stays in standby.
Someone suggested it was the power supply but I've tested that - no luck.
Can anyone help?

- Hi, I took the back panel off - no sign. I looked under the main circuit board and still no sign.thanks anyway

The problem IS PROBABLY BEING CAUSED BY A SHORTED POWER REGULATOR (MX084 ) OR AN OPEN FUSEABLE RESISTOR IN THE POPWER SUPPLY...

To find the fuse you have to unplug tv from AC then remove back panel or open case of tv , if you follow the cable that as been disconnetted (may be dangerous if you plug in ) i hope will be easy to find the fuse that can be blown . if you have a meter can check
if the fuse is open or short .after this check and if did you change the fuse you can try to plug the cable making attention the risk of touching some electric part of tv
