Question about 2wire (1000-400108-001) Router
Att DSL with 2wire router. Router always working, computer with ethernet never has a problem. Around 9:00 PM 9:15, 9:30 computer can no longer connect to the router. Signal stregth is excellant (full bars), but cannot connect. Around 7:00 AM the computer can connect to the router. This happens everyday. Att has replaced everything. States this problem is so unique that we are the only ones who have it.
I have no problem connecting to other wireless addresses with multiple laptops. If I am on-line after 9:00 or before 7:00 AM this is what I have to do. I am sure it is isolated to our system.
Thanks
Mike
I had a simuliar issue, that initially it would connect then would slow down then would not connect at all. I found after moving the 2.4GHz phone away from the laptop that the problem went away. Maybe you have a neighbor or business close to you that transmits on this frequency at that time every night. Something such as a security camera. Hope this helps

What channel are you running the access point on? The only thing i can think of is that some wireless interference starts around that time of night which wipes out your wireless sign. Changing the channel may help (but change it to some atleast 5 above or below the current setting as the channels overlap).

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Att contacted me and had me change the channel in the router from 6 to11. So far, so good. I have not had a problem since.
Thanks,
