Error code 302 thats that mean?

I can't get my new D-Link DIR-655 wireless router up and running. I keep getting error code 302. I can't find in the D-Link manual or on D-Link's web site what this or any error codes mean.

HTTP 302 is not an error. It's simply a request for your browser to redirect to another URI. Browers aren't supposed to show you a message, they are supposed to simply follow the redirect. You should try accessing the router interface from a different web browser, such as Firefox.

I have a DIR 655 D Link router and I can't save changes.

Lots of possibilities, especially if the wireless device and your PC are older - the DIR 655 doesn't support wireless protocols 802.11 a and b, for example, only the newer g and n.
Start with getting the router software up to date (see )
using an Ethernet link to a PC, and then debug the wireless access. The DNS message could be caused by the Windows wireless adapter config having a manual IP address vs the router being set for DHCP (dynamic) or vice versa.

When setting up my new D=Link wireless router I get an error message 302 internal error router setup can not continue I can connect on my old router . What does this message mean?

I called the D-LInk support number . The technician was extremely rude and of no help . It was so bad I returned the router to the store and bought a Linksys router. It was easier to install and works great.

Problem in set up - error 302

Do a hard-reset and set the router up from scratch. Routers have on-board memory and can, at times, have that information corrupted. Hard-resets will return it to factory settings and will flush the memory. On the back of the router you will find a tiny button that says Reset above it. Get a pencil, pen, paperclip, safety pin, whatever is small enough and push and hold that little button down until you see the lights on the router flash in obvious response. When the router is done resetting, plug your computer into it (if it isn't already) and set it back up and you should be clear of error.
