Question about Gateway (2500COOLINGFAN) for Solo 2550 Laptop Cooler
Typically a laptops CD rom is removed one of two ways.
1. there is a screw holding it in on the bottom that needs to be removed so you can just slide it out or it has a spring loaded lock that you push in and pull out. Or a combination of the two.
2. Because its a notebook and not really a laptop, it maybe entireley internal, in which case you would have to take the unit apart to remove the drive. Check the user manual for tips, it may be simple, also, you can probably go online and find a repair manual at there website and use that as a guide.
Try these and let me know.
