Lexmark prints a page fine but the job remains in the queue

Lexmark 2500 prints a page fine but the job remains in the queue saying the job is being deteted

    Done that and even totally uninstalled/reinstalled the full app - still happens

Try reloading the drivers and that should take care of the issue

    ok then its something on your pc try running a defrag and chkdsk to see if there are any errors.

It could be a printer driver issue. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem.
First, clear the print queue from any stuck print jobs. You can do the steps mention - going to Services and stop the print spooler, delete the files in the spooler folder and then restart the service.
Second, delete the existing Lexmark Interpret S405 printer driver. On your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot your pc when prompted.
Third, visit the Lexmark website to download and reinstall the Lexmark Interpret S405 printer driver. Select the version of your Windows operating system. Download and execute the file. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.
After the reinstall process is successful, try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.

I HAVE JUST REFILLED MY LEXMARK X2550 PRINTER COLOR CARTRIDGE NUMBER 35, BUT A MASSEGE ON MY PC SAYS: "Invalid Cartridge". How do l get it to be recognised so that l can use it?

35 is color ink cartridge .. high yield,

A new color print cartridge needs to be installed.

If available, click the Continue button on your computer screen to print using the

black (or photo) print cartridge. (The Continue button is available only at the

beginning of a print job.)

Note: A variable amount of ink remains in the color print cartridge.

Follow these steps to replace the color print cartridge in your printer:

1 Cancel the print job if not already canceled.

2 Replace the color print cartridge with a new cartridge. For more information,

see "Removing a used print cartridge" on page 35 and "Installing print

cartridges" on page 35.

3 Print again.

To order supplies, click Order Ink on your computer screen. You can also see

"Ordering paper and other supplies" on page 40 in this guide.

I cant get a print job to delete from the queue and its holding up all the other jobs


To delete print jobs stuck in the print queue on Windows:

  1. Click Start ? click Control Panel ? click Printers and Faxes.
  2. Right-click on the Lexmark print object and select Cancel All Documents.
  3. If that doesn't clear the queue, restart your computer.

If print job(s) still remain in the queue even after doing the steps above:
Stop the Print Spooler service from the Services console

  1. Click Start ? click Run ? type cmd ? click OK.
  2. Type net stop spooler at the command prompt ? hit Enter on the keyboard.

Clear the SPOOL folder

  1. Click Start ? click Run ? type spool ? click OK.
  2. Open PRINTERS folder ? delete all files in the folder.
Start the Print Spooler service from the Services console
  1. Click Start ? click Run ? type cmd ? click OK.
  2. Type net start spooler at the command prompt ? hit Enter on the keyboard.

Try to print again after clearing the print queue.

Lexmark Z32 printer prints test page, nothing else. Print job looks like all is well and goes to print queue, then nothing. The job gets cancelled. Using imac OS X10.2


If its working like a Lexmark, FIRST go to your [START] PROGRAMS, open LEXMARK program under Lexmark... choose PRINTIITY and from there LEXMARK PRODUCTIVITY STUDIO...

I Know... it should be auto all the way but its under sheep.Comfy when you find it.

Will not print all conections are good every thing sits ,but does not print have 9 documents pending


Hi. You will need to clear the queue first as it will just accumulate in it if the pending documents remain. There are articles in the Lexmark website to help you remedy the problem. Just click on the links. This first link: http://bit.ly/agrrFg will help you remove or cancel print jobs in Microsoft windows. If the print jobs are still stuck in the queue, click on this link: http://bit.ly/aVuCwm and follow the instructions carefully. Once the queue is cleared, unplug the printer usb connection from the computer and plug it back in after 5 seconds. Try printing again. Good luck!

Lexmark c530dn wont print


disconnect this printer from your gigabit switch and try running it by itself. this printer should have its own on board memory. you may have uncompatible memories.

My print jobs hang up in the queue


Test pages are printer generated not from the computer. Have you checked Microsoft help on this? make sure you are on line. Go to My Computer /Help, then when the help pages comes up Type in print spooler See what you get Rephrase the question if the answer you seek is being missed.
