Evaporative air conditioner not working

I have a Brivis contour ducted evaporative air conditioner model L41. The problem I have is the solenoid won't let water through into the system, I have changed the solenoid twice and each time when I start the unit it will run for a couple of seconds then trip the circuit breaker and shut down the entire system. I then reset the circuit breaker and try to restart the unit but then the solenoid wont let any water into the system at all.
Any ideas.

Wish there was more that I could do to help but you may need to have someone or yourself check for anything shorted/grounded and also make sure the voltage is correct to the solenoid.

Hi, if the unit has a remote control, check the batteries and replace if required. Unplug unit from wall socket and check the filter in the unit where the cold air comes out, the cover lifts upwards. Clean filter by using a vacuum cleaner and reinsert. Plug and switch on power at source. Hope this helps.

Yes the evap coolers do need maintenance just like all other air conditioners,
The end result of controller no longer working is indicating there is now a electrical issue.
You should contact a Air Conditioning mechanic for a breakdown.

My condensor in the furnace ices up which restricts the airflow. Is this normal. When I shut off the air conditioner the ice melts and causes a minor flood in the furnace. thanks

The indoor coil or "Evaporator Coil" (condenser is the outside coil in air conditioning) should never freeze when an air conditioning system is installed, maintained and serviced properly.
The most common cause of evaporator freezing is a clogged or dirty air filter. Other causes include; a clogged or dirty coil; blower malfunction, filter too restrictive (in which case use a less restrictive type), undersized duct, closed and or covered registers and grills, and collapsed duct.
Another common cause of evaporator icing is loss of refrigerant in which case you should call a professional who can locate and repair the refrigerant leak and recharge your system.

Our fan on our brivis evaporative cooler is not working. The pump to fill it with water is working and the fuse is fine. what else could it be - the unit is on the roof and I can not get to it.

there is a fan insert with a part Number 17517 this insert sits on the shaft of the motor. my fan is working but not blowing so i went up on to my roof and found out that this particular insert is broken (due to a birds nest )

We have a brivis ducted evaporative cooling system and i was wondering how long we can safey run it continuosly?

When you say safely, do you mean operating it with the required doors and windows open? You can run it 24/7 as long as it is operating according to the owner manual.

I have an identical issue with my Brivis.
Did you get a solution?
Mine can be running, then goes blank and says searching. it will eventually come back.
Just wondering if you had to replace the 14100?
