I've got a Switch D-Link DES 3226, I've lost Username and Password forlogin to configure the device. There is not reset button on the Switch,so I can't do anything to resolve the problem. How do I recover orfactory reset it?. Give me solutions, thank you!.

Recovering a Lost Password - If the password for the router configuration is lost then the following procedure can be used to set it to "friend". 1) Power cycle the router 2) Hold down the "s" key during startup. (The router will startup with the current release but no configuration 3) Edit the configuration file and remove the line (Ctrl Y): set user=manager pass=3af00c6cad11f7ab5db4467b66ce503eff priv=manager 4) Save the router configuration 5) "restart reboot"
This device only a switch and there's really no reset button for this and there's also no configuration on this device its just a passthrough of internet access if you have a router that's the one that you can reset and also your modem..
Go to system preferences, select Accounts. Whoever set up the Mac should be listed as the administrator, so click on administrator name. This will bring up the password change icon. Click on it and change your password. (You might want to check out those Parental Controls, too. :)
