Hey man. Did you have the schematics or service manual of this speaker? JBL PN 176849-001.
Can you send me a copy if you have?
Regards.

It's more than likely your audio device driver. You may need to install or update the driver before the audio will output sound, or a speaker icon can be added to your systray.
Tell us in more detail about your computer system and we may be able to point you to the driver for download.

Hi there, ive got logitech speaker system z523, ive had them for around 7 months now haven't had any problems with them, all of a sudden my 2nd speaker just doesn't seem to work, and i've tested them but...

Hi,
first of all you should try with a different audio source to make sure that the problem resides in your speakers. Then you could try to move the left speaker's cable to see if that is causing the problem and fix it if you have some good soldering skills, otherwise you can just send them back in assistance since they have a 1 year long warranty.
Hope it helped,
Franz

Please check the cable using a multimeter. Check if the cable is broken.

Just by shifting the system, I fear if you could have an issue like this. Also check the Subwoofer box if its working or not. Good Luck.

JBL Platinum compaq 263872 001 these speakers i have just randomly one day stopped working and ive been trying to get them to work and they won't. any help please?

Hi
the JBLs are notorious for failure. Could be the amp has blown. Was there any changes to the quality prior to them failing e.g. hissing, baffle-type-rattling?
If its still under warranty - get it back to the store asap, although you may find the small print states that the amp is NOT covered under warranty.

Speakers stopped working

Try to reload your drivers for your sound card.
Make sure there are no conflicts with any new software and or hardware that you recently installed.
If you are using XP try to restore your computer to a date when your sound was working.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Right speaker doesn't work

I had this very same problem and I had my system for about 2 weeks. I have seen a lot of similar posts on this site so it seems that this problems happens a lot. For some reason my right speaker just stopped working so i came to this site for help. I looked at alot of posts and nothing fixed the problem. when i switched the right speaker to the left input it started to work so I knew the speakers were fine. So i finally decided to unplug everything and restart my laptop. Once my laptop rebooted I plugged the sub back into the wall after about a minute of it being not plugged in. Then I plugged all the the wires and volume control back into the sub and turned the switch back on. Make sure the volume control is down when you plug everything back in. Then plug the wire into the device, which in my case was a laptop, and start to play some tunes. Right away everything was working perfectly fine again and no problems ever since...for me atleast.

HOPE THIS HELPS
