Wii menu doesn't show.

Hi, I just hooked up my Wii which is from Japan to the internet last night and since it was getting late i stopped it halfway when the Wii was saving the settings or the Updating the Wii. The next day when i was wanting to play i pressed the 'A' button then the Wii menu flashed up for a sec then went to a page where some Japanese words came up, i can't read Japanese so i can't understand it but i know it said something about refer to the Wii user manual. worse thing is the Wii Manual is of course in ***! Please help! thank you in advance.

I am trying to hook up Netflix through my Wii and i can't seem to connect to my wirleless internet in my home. My computer's have no problem getting the Wi-Fi signal.

Reboot your wireless internet and move your Wii closer to the source of the wireless internet. Oftentimes the nintendo wireless receivers are far weaker than the wireless cards in computers or other wireless devices, so moving it closer should help. If this doesn't work, you can purchase a LAN extension for you wii and hook it up to the internet directly through a wired connection. Let me know if you need anything else.

How do i hook up my wii to the internet wireless

It is very simple
From the wii home menu...

Go to Wii Options in the lower left.

Click on Wii Settings to the right.

From this first list, click the right arrow.

Now on page 2, click on Internet.

Then click Connection Settings.

From this list, click Connection 1.

Then, click Wireless Connection...

and then click Search for an Access Point.

It will briefly search for any access points and when this screen comes up, click OK.

The following will be a list of nearby access points. If the one you are looking for doesn't show up, click Try again. Then, click the one you have access to...

When the following screen appears, click OK...

and OK again.

It will test the connection...

Once that finishes, go back to the main menu and try using the internet.

Also please watch this video for a walkthrough.

You will need to make sure the connection is still setup in the wii system menu here:

You can then redownload the wii and internet channels for free in the wii shop.

INTERNET HOOK UP

If you do not have wi-fi. You need to get an adapter wich is an usb on one side and the ethernet port on the other. After that you go into the wii settings on the home menu bar and go into the connection settings which will show you 3 buttons type things. Once you click one of these a menu should appear asking you if you have wireless access, wired access, or AOSS access. You just click the one you have and follow the instructions. Good Luck!
