Question about Acer Aspire 6930-6455 Notebook PC
On day 15 after purchasing my new Acer Aspire 6930 notebook (one day after Staples would take it back), it started turning itself off whenever it felt like it! I've called Acer support, and tried everything they've recommended, including a full system restore with the disks they sent me. It's still doing it, and now I have new problems (audio not working, etc.) Of course, Acer will only repair it if I send it back to them, but I'm a college student, and can't be without my computer for even one day. Can anyone help me? Is there a solution that Acer is missing? Or do you know of any way to get them to send me a replacement?
As for the 14 day return policy, I believe that legally that can only apply to refunds, and not defects for exchange. You may want to give that a try first.
If not, have you changed the setting to reboot on system failure in system properties? If not we can walk you through that and see what gives.
