Question about Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Calculator

1 Answer

Screen Displays nothing

Hello

I have a TI83 plus and the screen does not come up at all. I have tried to adjust the contrast and reset it via removing one battery and holding delete. I can plug in the calculator in to my computer and reload the OS no problem, but still nothing on the screen. Is it possible to physically replace the screen for this calculator? Please, if anyone has any advice it is very much appreciated.

This is expected behavior when batteries are replaced and you don't need to reset the device, simply adjust the contrast more than you would think it should take.
