Trying to use VOIP-321 with a Belkin Networked USB hub
When I plug the VOIP base into my Networked USB hub, the USB light on the VOIP base doesn't come on. I don't have a problem with any other USB device realizing it's connected to the hub, and they all need drivers, which are installed on my computer, so I doubt it's a driver issue. Any thoughts?
Re: Trying to use VOIP-321 with a Belkin Networked USB...
Fallonje good afternoon, I wonder if you have a USB port on your computer? If yes, pls plug the VOIP321 into that port. Does it work? What is the Belkin hub called networked? Let me know. Many regards, Fred

Helmutnz's problem was solved by installing the driver for the VOIP321 phone (Driver made for New Zealand models only). Driver: http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/v/voip3211s_79/voip3211s_79_dxp_eng.exe If you come back helmutnz tell me how your calls have gone and if you like rate our chat together.
It took me a while to figure out but here is how I am able to dial out from skype to a hardline to a person not in my skype contact. Simply start to dial the number (not from the talk button!!!) then instead of hitting the talk button to dial, hit the skype button on the bottom left hand side. I also have to dial 001 then the phone number. Hope this works for you too. good luck.
I had the same problem with a HP Pavilion PC running vista. The way I fixed this problem with to plug the USB into a USB port on the PC not using a ext USB Hub. I did have to go into the sound in the control panel and change the default so the other programs would use the correct sound.
