Soak them in motor oil the use 400 grit wet sandpaper (The black kind available at the hardware store) and lightly sand off the rust. They will be good as new when you are done.

SOURCE: My Panasonic ER 203 with problem spring of

If the spring on the blade has come out, the blade has to be broken. The manufacturing process for this type of blade makes it impossible to take it apart without breaking the plastic that holds the spring. There is simply no way to effectively repair the blade.
You will need to replace the blade or the entire unit.

John! No Problem!
First put the bigger of the two blades witht the size/number facing down, put the cutter on top. (with the side with the flat side of the teeth facing down) Then put the tongue guide inside the tension spring, make sure the tension spring rail is on the tension rail and place them on top of the cutter. To see which bits these are go to:
This picture whows the front and back, it differs slightly from your blade, but its same meat different gravy!

Hold all this together with your finger and thumb, flip it over and scre the whole lot together!

SOURCE: I dropped my Wahl Stable Pro rechargeable clippers

There is a gold colored piece of spring steel that keeps the blades pressed together. You must be missing that, allowing the small blade to float arouind.

How do I reduce my clipper's rattling noise and still be able to cut properly?

The power screw is the correct way to adjust the problem you describe. If you have attempted to adjust it as instructed in the user manual and have not had satisfactory results, there may be a problem with the clippers.
Most Wahl clippers have a 1 year or longer warranty. You can call Wahl for warranty service at 1-800-334-4627

I have the same situation. I've contacted Homedics and was just told its no longer made. Bummer. I guess we are both out of luck!

Runs if tipped to the right. Not if tipped to the left

check the electrical cord at the clipper connection by bending the electrical cord at clipper end with the clipper on if the clipper stops the electrical cord is broken in side.if this will dose not locate the problem, the next possible problem will be the coil inside the clipper the coil has a broken field winding wire. Have a Wahl clipper repair shop repair the problem.

The clipper suddenly cut off how do i get power to the andis or do i needa new set. This set is only a year old. does anyone know where i can get instructions.

Chances are that the problem wasn't the clippers at all. Since they were on initially, maybe you tripped a circuit in the breaker box? If that wasn't it, you may have damaged your cord. I see a lot of people pulling by the cord to unplug...BAD decision. Check for frays near the end that houses the prongs, and if not there, open them up and check from in between where the hanging loop is up to near where it connects to the motor. I still have every set of andis trimmers and clippers I have ever owned.

If your afraid to open them up, go to, then click your country, then hover over professional and scroll down to trimmers. Select the outliner II, and when the next window opens, at the bottom there is a specs link. Click that and you should find a diagram of what your looking for when you open up the housing.
