The service manual for your washer may state something like this:

F21 LONG DRAIN If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes the water valves turn off.
NOTES: After 4 minutes the "Sd" error will be displayed, then
4 minutes later the "F/21" error code will be displayed. Press
PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear the display.
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure
the pump is running.
4. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. If the above does not correct the problem, go to step 7.
7. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
8. Replace the pump.
Front loader drain issues are commonly clogged filters, pumps and hoses.
Another scenario could be a problem with the water pressure switch. To get to it, remove the top panel by taking out the three screws in the back of the washer. The pressure switch is right there on top. Make sure tubing ( no pinches, etc.) and connections are good.
Hi - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning.Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.
F2 is a drain error in your washer, if
the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display suds and then
F2. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the
drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front
panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter.
If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then
replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any
Open the access door at the bottom left corner of your washer. Use the small hose there to drain the remaining water from the machine. Un-screw the big knob next to it and pull out the attached filter. Clean out the filter and re-install. If the filter was clear, replace drain pump motor.
If the washer is not draining then it is due to a clogged drain pump or a drain filter or a kinked drain hose. To resolve the issue you'll need to clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine, then remove the front kick panel and access the drain pump and filter, if you are unable to find the pump and filter remove the back panel as well and trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub. There is a drain filter connected with the drain pump. It usually gets clogged, and needs to be cleaned every 6-8 months or so. The drain filter is a small white filter connected to drain pump with a hose. If it still doesn't work then you'll need to check the connections of the drain pump, check the electrical connections with a multimeter. If it still doesn't work then you would need to replace the drain pump. Please revert for any further assistance. Hope this helps...
You simply take the 3 screws out from under the front lip. AND THE PUMP IS SITTING RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS
put a cake pan
under the lip of the drain and unscrew the filter to take out the
stinky water. Once it won't unscrew anymore pull the filter out and
clean. OR PULL THE ENTIRE PUMP OUT TO PERFORM A INSPECTION OF THE PUMP

For most front loaders:
off the mains. You have to look for screws below the front kick-panel, the
panel comes down & out. The pump is on the right side. Be prepared for
dirty water. There is a drain hose here, disconnect & drain out. There could be a lot of water. Inside the big
flexible tube (coming from the tub bottom) is the filter, be prepared to find
all sorts of junk here, clean out. Examine your pump also, clean out the
impeller. Carefully refit all. Your machine would be fine. Don’t wait for the
machine to jam to look into your filter. For
some front loader models after removing the bottom toe panel, the filter is in
the compartment having the white screw able lid.The big hose from the bottom of your tub
leads to this compartment.
You could also check the exit hose of the washer for blocks. Next snake out your wall drain, it helps.
The main reason these units wont drain is because the drain pump is plugged. Remove the front access panel at the bottom the pump is located on the right hand side at the front. Get rid of water in unit with a shop vac, disconnect wires from pump remove hoses clean out pump and rubber hose to the tub reassemble and try. good luck
The filter on your pump is probably clogged with lint and other stuff. Lift washer up a bit.You have to remove the bottom front panel, 3 screws. The panel will drop and come off. Drain off excess water from the drain pipe you see. The white filter cover is right in front. Get yourself a bunch of towels or a good big plastic bag to collect water or a wet vac.Unscrew the filter cover and twist the filter out. Clean out all the stuff and put it back in.
