How to fix how much the wheel scrolls

If you are a windows user then follow the below steps:

Click on Start Menu
then select Control Panel
in the control panel select the Mouse option
and when you double click on Mouse a new window will pop up
on that window click on WHEELS

and there you can set the desired scrolling with mouse wheel.

Thank You

I have an HP computer and HP mouse, the scroll button has a mind of it's own, jumping all over the page on it's own. How do I fix it to only scroll when I perform the task for scrolling?

I had EXACTLY the same problem with my Dell mouse. It went up and down of its own accord. I opened it, tweaked it and messed with it but to no avail. It is my painful and sad duty to tell you that your mouse is old and its time for it to meet its creator. Don't cry, it has seen good and times and had its day...but the old must depart. That is the law of the nature. I'm sure once you get to know your new mouse, you'll get along fine and be best friends in no time. Truly sorry for your loss.

Hi, I have a problem with the scrolling bar at the right side of the page, when trying to scroll up & down the page it stops & you have to wait about 30 seconds then the bar gets smaller & it...

Hello
This problem of your computer is not due to mouse, i believe your computer is responding slow due to some reasons:
1. Lot of application installed on it, do uninstall software you dont want. 2. Clean the temporary file from your computer 3. Check and Remove hard disk errors 4. Check and clean virus/spyware
You can get helps from this web site as well http://www.microsoft.com/atwork/maintenance/speed.aspx
Hope this helps, if so do rate the solution

Default mouse scroll not working

That can be fixed. Either press F9 because it forze or press:
CTRL ALT DEL

This is called task manager. It will end any programs. Just don't click so much!

Mouse wheel won't scroll up/down!! It has been 2 days that my mouse wheel doesn't scroll down. When I click on the wheel, it works fine but it's when I roll the wheel, it doesn't work. How should I solve...

The quickest solution is to do one of the two options: If USB - unplug it and plug it back in. If PS2 - shutdown machine, unplug and plug back in, power up. Also check for clenliness of the wheel. Thanks.

Scroll Bar Trouble

Does your mouse have SCROLLBAR UP/DOWN buttons? It sure sounds like your mouse is going bad. I would get a new one, they are cheap.

Hope this helps.
