Hi,

you must be doing something diffrently since when they worked. double check that everything is ok, and try to play the music cd with another program, windows media player for example.

Can't fugure out how to download prperly on mp4. Need step by step instructions if possible

Your player is incapable of playing back an MP3 file. Your computer has no problem . Newer players can play back those files along with the more conventional WAV files. Older cd units cannot paly back those files.

Get a free mp3 to Wav file converter and then do the burn.

I cant use Music Match jukebox on my new PC. Why?

  1. Verify that your music is in the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus folder on your hard drive. Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, or select "My Computer" from the Start menu. Open the C:\\ drive. Double-click "MusicMatch Jukebox." Review the folder to check that all of your MP3 files are inside the folder. If not, search your computer for the files and drag them to the MusicMatch folder.
  2. Turn on folder sharing to ensure the software can access your music files. Open "My Network Places" in the "My Computer" folder. Click "Properties." In the resulting window, click "File and Print Sharing." Check the box next to, "I want to be able to give others access to my files." Click "OK" and close all open windows before restarting your PC.
  3. Check that you have permission to play the specific MP3 files if you are having playback issues. Occasionally, songs purchased through the Yahoo! Music online store using MusicMatch Jukebox Plus have faulty digital rights management (DRM) protection. Burn the file to a CD and then rip the song from the CD as an MP3, which removes the DRM protection and allows the software to play it without restrictions. This is your only recourse, as the MusicMatch store no longer exists. Previously, you could have contacted MusicMatch's customer service to have the song reissued.
  4. Reinstall the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus software. Click the "Start" menu button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen and select "Settings." Open your "Control Panel" and double-click the icon named "Add/Remove Programs." Locate "MUSICMATCH" in the list of available programs and click "Uninstall."
  5. Insert the MusicMatch Jukebox Plus installation disk into your computer's disk drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software again. This may resolve problems involving faulty computer files and corrupt Windows Registry data.
  6. Clean any CDs you are trying to rip or record to using the MusicMatch software. Disks with unclean surfaces involving dust or fingerprints are some of the most common reasons for faulty MP3 ripping or poor audio when recording CDs. Use a specialty disk cleaning cloth or a cloth intended for cleaning similarly sensitive accessories such as prescription eyeglasses. Wipe the disk from the middle toward the edge.please rate and comment on this product just by saying how helpful it is.raise the thumb up

ITunes dumping music

I would un install itunes completely and just re download it from the apple website and the latest version should fix the issue.

Might be that your itunes library is corrupted so before you install the newest one if you go to music and open the itunes folder and delete the library files that or go to macintosh hd --> users --> your username --> music --> itunes --> delete all library files

if you need more help post back and I will help further.

I have 2 problems both mac related Problem 1 I have been using Parallels on my Imac for some time. And have not been happy with it. So I decided to switch to VM Fusionware. I installed VM...

Wow... That is just bad Luck.
Your Files on Itunes are corrupted or just not there. i'm not sure how. your LaCie drive may have had a virus or some other such thing. try loading the files back on to your computer again, and make sure you put the files in the correct folder. one thing that worked for me when my itunes library failed, was when you copy the music files onto your computer, double click the the actual file icon, as if you wanted toplay them. this will tell itunes that the file still exists (and it may also play the song). your Parrellels problem is strange. i think that, like you mentioned, you may have to delete the previous VM installation, so to revert to the one you imported.
Good Luck...

There is a driver for it that will work with XP, however, the issue is finding a program to make use of that driver. The brain surgeons at RCA decided to not include a program to put music on your MP3 player and instead relied on third party software... that software being MusicMatch Jukebox. Of course, somewhere along the line MusicMatch dropped support and even if one were to acquire an old version of the program, you have to download a MusicMatch plugin that allows it to recognize the MP3 player... a plugin that no longer exists on the MM website. Isn't that wonderful? Currently, I'm looking into the matter, and if I find a solution, it will be posted.

Problem in loading song in device

Tracks must be transferred using the Musicmatch Jukebox software supplied with the player. You cannot drag & drop from Windows, even though the player shows up as a removable drive. Musicmatch transfers the tracks, and alkso updates the file list on the player. If the tracks aren't on the file list, the player will ignore them.

Also, you need to have Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10, as Musicmatch uses drivers from version 10.

If you have Windows Media Player 11 installed, you will need to uninstall it to roll back to version 10.

If Musicmatch still doesn't transfer correctly, click on options / tools, and make sure that the device is recognised as "GoGear" , and not "Removable drive"

PSS110 is only compatible with Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10.(Even though Musicmatch is used to transfer files)

If you have Media Player 11, then uninstall to roll back to version 10.

Check that you are not loading protected (DRM) tracks. If so delete these tracks and load a non DRM test track.

If this doesn't help then try the following:

Check that Musicmatch is recognising the player as GoGear, and not removable drive n: (Where n: can be any drive letter)

If it is showing as removable drive within Musicmatch, then go to the options menu. Select devices. Click on the dropdown menu, click on GoGear, then apply.

Install and run Philips Device Manager fro the product CD. Use the repair option to format the device, and free up the space taken up by the un-recognizable tracks.

Musicmatch will then put the tracks in the right place and update the playlist.
