Question about Casio Exilim EX-Z100 Digital Camera
I accidentally deleted all the pictures taken in my casio exilim z100, might have press the format option. I am not sure which portion of the menu did I press. I have not transfer all the pictures in the computer so I would like to know if there is still possibility to recover them
First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.
Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Download this photo recovery software
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

You pressed "format" on your camera. That meant that you formatted the
memory card of your camera. All your pictures are saved on the memory
card of your Canon digital camera automatically. You can recover
them with photo recovery software. But once the pictures were
overwritten by new data, they are gone for good.
I had recovered photos and videos from formatted SD card on my camera with a program called Tenorshare Photo Recovery for Mac and it worked.Anyway, you can download it (Photo Recovery for Windows version is available, too, as I remember) and scan your memory card for free to preview whether your files can be recovered.By the way,it will show you the file name, type, date and size of your files and thumbnails for your pictures that it found on your card.Give it a shot!
Here is a step by step tutorial to guide you recover photos from formatted memory card.

OK! Don't worry!
1). Pick out the inner memory card of this digital camera and never save anything new on it in case of data loss.
2). Insert it to your computer via a card Reader and select a memory card data recovery freeware to restore all your deleted photos back:
3). Save and back up these restored files on a different places or locations in case of data recovery failure.
Next time, you should never be so careless about your important files and never forget to back up them all.

Hello, erlyn_gp! Don't worry. You can rely on this photo recovery software (also recover music and video files); it can help you recover your lost pictures from your Casio Digital Camera (or memory card):
Photo Recovery for Windows Users
Photo Recovery for Mac Users
Kind Suggestion: Before your pictures are retrieved, do not save more files to the device (or memory card) in case the original files (your pictures) are overwritten.

Yes,you have chance.Format won't make the pictures deleted permanently from your digital camera. Try photo recovery software to rescue the lost photos from the camera, here are some you may rely on. Both programs can also recover videos and music.
Photo Recovery (for Windows)
Mac Photo Recovery (for Mac OS X)
Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the memory card(of your digital camera) in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.
