Question about Jenn-Air 24 in. JDB8910 Built-in Dishwasher

Jenn-Air JDB8910 dishwasher moisture coming out left side.

I think it is called it intake fan. it is located on the left side of the dishwasher. What would cause moisture to come out it. It is messing up my cabinet. What can i do to fix the problem?

Thats a vent fan to help with drying cycle its normal for steam to come out during cycle of drying you might use no heat air dry and turn your jet dry disp up but its a normal part of drying cycle

Door spring on dishwasher broke


I have just done this on my own dishwasher, and managed to bend the next curl of the springs to replace the broken ends, see instructions and pictures here:-

Jenn air jdb8910 does nothing


Had a similar problem with mine a few weeks ago. It was intermittent in not working on delay. My first thought was that the close switch was not working. Upon disassembling the door, and fiddling with the switch, I heard some sizzling on one of the circuit boards. A little more digging revealed some cold solder joints on a couple of board mounted relays.

I removed the board, re-soldered the loose relays, and everything has worked fine since.

- Make sure the spring action door is working.
