Water leaking inside into the barrel when it is not in use.

This is a heavy duty machine and the barrel (where you put in the clothes) is filled with water when it is not in use. i noticed the leak is from the back, i believe where it is connected to the cold hose. is this just a part i can replace?

Yep pretty easy remove the two screws from the end caps on the back of the control panel pull it slightly foward then tilt it back its on hinges then you will see two gold retaniers note how the fit pop the out then you can tilt the body foward and access the valves in the mean time just shut the water off till you get the part to fix it when unit not in use to prevent flooding ok

One piece agitator wraps cloths

When loading the machine, load towels, sheets or jeans with an accordion fold instead of putting the laundry in a circle around the agitator. It helps to put the clothes in at the twelve o'clock position, then six o'clock, then nine o'clock and then three o'clock. Repeat this sequence until the washer is full.
The laundry can circulate much better and get cleaner too.

Machine will wash on hot only will not on cold or will not fill with cold at all

This is an indication that the solenoid on the cold water valve is bad. Or the cold water valve is plugged. If you can get to the valves, use a meter to check the solenoid OR the power to the solenoid. That will tell you if it is bad. If you dont have a meter, switch the wires from one solenoid to the other and see if it fills

Whirlpool Duet Sport Dryer front load leaks water underneath the dryer when drying heavy duty clothes

The clothes then are too wet for the heat to evaporate. Spin extra time to get rid of as much water as possible before putting them in dryer.

Possibly the timer. next time it wont stop filling turn off the washer. if it still fills you have a water valve issue. Hope for the valve. Timers are big bucks.

GWL15 no hot water on Regular or Heavy Duty Cycles

should you select a 40* wash it would not be right if the machine filled with hot water, as the water in the house tank is a lot more than 40* ( around 65* i think?) this would just damage the clothes and i am sure you would just complain again at that.

if the machine works fine then there is no problem
