Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
So, I have a complicated problem, but an easy fix with some creativity. First, this laptop has a burned-out tube so the screen is completely blank, however, I have been using a tv as an external monitor to remedy. UNTIL... The computer got a virus that will not allow me to start windows, so I am reinstalling. The problem: the tv does not display my bios at boot (only displays after windows loads) so I need pictures of this version of bios so that I can select boot from cd essentially in the dark. Or someone who knows how many times I need to hit up and down, when to select function keys, which ones, etc.
Also, I am worried that I will not be able to see the windows installation cd prompts for similar reasons when I attempt to reinstall. If anyone thinks that will be an issue and has any recomendations that would be exellent.
