How do I set the clock on a fisher fvh-7600 vcr I do not have a owners manual

Also having no manual for a Fisher FVH-7600, I eventually guessed how to set the clock after finding a remote control (Fisher RVR-7600) that works with it.

With the TV and VCR connected and powered on, the TV set to channel 3, and the remote's FUNCTION switch and VCR/TV button both set to VCR, I see a blank blue TV screen.

Then I press the PROG. button on the remote, and a menu with instructions appears on the TV screen. CLOCK SETTING is item 1 on that menu.

I have apex dt-250a digital converter box and I lost the remote. Purchased RCA universal remote and I have not a clue what codes I need or how to enter them. Can you help?

Located this "How to teach your RCA remote how-to" for you:
http://www.justanswer.com/electronics/228cy-unable-locate-apex-remote-today-purchased.html

The trick is that you want the converter box on AUX 1 or AUX 2, but neither of these will "learn",
so you "learn" the code on one of the other devices (like VCR), then take the learned code and
enter it manually into AUX 1 (or AUX 2), then reset your RCA remote "VCR" code to its original code for your VCR. So:
(1) display/write down your VCR code
(2) learn DT250A code on VCR setting on the remote
(3) manually enter the learned code into AUX 1 or AUX 2
(4) manually reset your VCR code to the original value

Any more specific help would come if you would post your RCA universal remote model number.

I have an auvio 15-304 remote that I am trying to program to my gpx DVD player and can't remember how because there is no code for the DVD player brand.

i have an Auvio 15-305, so this might help. Manual Code Search.
1) Power on the device that you want to control. For VCR and DVD players, you must insert a tape or disc first.

2) Press and hold SET, then press (TV, VCR/DVD, AUD, DVR,SAT/CBL, AUX) at the same time on the remote. The LED will stay lit indicating it is on setup mode. NOTE: DO NOT HOLD DOWN THE KEYS MORE THAN 3 SECONDS OR THE REMOTE ENTERS AUTO SEARCH MODE.

3) Press POWER on the remote. The remote enters a manual code search mode, the LED will start flashing.

4) Press POWER on the remote continuously until the device turns off.

5) When it turns off, turn on the device manually. then try pressing the other buttons on the remote except for the POWER, SET, and DEVICE keys.
If most of the buttons work then press the selected DEVICE key that you selected in Step 2.

i hope this helps.

Need 4 digit code forsylvania tv dvd combo model ld195sl8a

Unfortunately, your remote control predates TV/DVD combos and as such the manual does not list a code for a Sylvania TV/DVD combos.

To make this control work with a TV/VCR combo, one would enter 0054 for the TV controls and 0081 for the VCR controls. May I suggest you try the following codes for the TV: 0054, 0030, 0096, 0020, 0381. If these codes do not work, try running through the auto-code search.

The manual for the URC-4330 does not list any Sylvania DVD codes at all, so I recommend running through the auto-code search. Here are the steps:

  1. On the remote control, press DVD once.
  2. Press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.
  3. Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
  4. Aim the remote control at the the DVD and slowly alternate between pressing POWER and DVD. Stop when the DVD turns off.
  5. To lock in the code, press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.
Hope that helps.

manually, the time zone setting is not available.

I can't get my cable to run through my sanyo vhr 5428 to display

You can't press enter without the remote. Your only hope is to go on eBay and search for the very same remote control. Be patient and check for a couple of weeks if you have to. Especially now that it's Christmas a lot of people will be selling their old remotes on eBay.
