Question about Gateway MT3705 Notebook
When I put a DVD in the player on my laptop it makes noise like it is trying to recognizing it; but then it just stops making noise. My laptop is only three months old and the DVDs are new and old that I try. My laptop refuses to recognize dvds, blank cds, as well as written cds. This used to only be an occasional problem, but now it is persistant. I have searched for any rocognization of the disc all throughout the computer.
i think that the lens had got dirt on it.
u can clean it using using either of these 1) der is something called a lens cleaner. its a disk with a small brush which cleans the lens, 2) u can use a cotton ear bud and gently use it to clean the lens.
