The unit had to be in the standby mode to make the adjustments. The booklet does not tell you that.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Setting rowe r90 to free play

ROWE R-90: 45 RPM/CD Combo with 6 CDs OR ROWE R-90: 45 RPM. Free play information seems hard to come by. There is a line in the program that "255 must be entered on. I just couldn't remember which one. So......

I just returner from a customers home. He was nice enough to let me snoop the codes from his R-90 that is already on free played. I found that "255" was entered on 3 different lines. This may be because the person that free played it had a poor memory and had to make 3 guesses to get it right, OR the code may vary from ROM versions. In any case it doesn't seem to hurt to have it in all 3 places. (R-90 45RPM)

Here goes.

1) Place lid switch into service. (centered)
Do not let the lid close completely during this procedure.

2) Hold down the (POPULAR) KEY and press the zero 3 times
This should give you the Burger menu (3 horizontal lines) in the upper left of the display. Then release the popular key
Note- If the burger menu fails to appear, you may have to press the zero up to 12 times to reset the pass code to 000.

3) Type 00 then press (POPULAR) This will display a "00" and another value. Probably "25"

4) At this point you can advance through the programming lines one at a time by JUST pressing the POPULAR key ONLY. For example next display would be 01 and a value probably "50" POPULAR AGAIN would be 02 and 100 and so on, every time you press the popular key.

5) Continue to press POPULAR until you reach 27. When you get to 27 key in "255" and press POPULAR.

6) When you reach 28, key in "255" and press POPULAR.

7) Continue to press POPULAR until you reach line 57, key in "255" and press POPULAR.

8) Return the service switch to RUN. The credit window should be displaying "255"

9) Make a selection, the credit window should still be displaying "255"
If the computer's battery is good, It will always display "255" from now on.
You are now on free play.

Turn the power off and then hold down the function button untill it displays time, then hold down the right jog key (not sure this is the correct one, you should try some other button in case this won't work) until the time starts to blink. Now use the jog dial to adjust the time.
