My phone got wet now my keyboard is not working.

there is an area under the track ball that goes bad if it get's wet. Cleaning that area with a brush can sometime get it up and running again. try to remove the trackball and clean the area below it if necessary. There is a Blackberry Repair Guide that shows how to open a Blackberry and remove the track ball yourself.

If you still have your old phone, remove the battery and there should be a card underneath (about the size of a thumbnail). Put it into your new phone and you'll have all of your contacts, pictures, etc. or put it into a different phone, temporarily, and then copy them over.

If not I believe there isn't a way to retrieve them.
