- I look at the diagram but i still do not see everything i need to know.like the power led + - and power sw it doesn't show the way it should go cause on my wires there's no + or - on nothing and that's where i'm having the biggest problem and the rest is easy except one thing and i know you might not have the same case i have and on my case i have a clear side with a fan on it also and i can not find a place for it either cause the book don't tell.

- True it does say that but the power + and - cause on the leads it doesn't show either and even on this motherboard. When i got it and open the box there was a pin bent over and i had to strighten it and anyone else might have sent it back but that was just luck in seeing it but my eyes are going a little bad cause of health problems with my sugar and my glasses goesn't help. Thanks anyway.

- One last thing may i ask if i may. on page 12 it shows 2 and 10 at the top, 1 and 9 at the bottom, right? next to the 1, would it be 3 or 4? or 1 and 2?. if you could answer that then maybe i can get this running today if i do not have problems with the audio as i have read a lot about that people had problems with on this board.

- Thanks i will try that shortly. but i may do have a USB wire running from my caseand two hookups for usb on the board 1 and 2 but i will try them both if the first things works first but this will help cause at lease i will know how the pins runs and i do not know about your board but on the F=Panel i do have one pin missing on the right at the bottom and i know it's not there and at first on the botton left from botton to top while in the case a pin was bent and i though it was missing also but i had to strighten it out and it came that way but i should have returned it but i didn't but i will give this a try. - Thanks i do have a few more of them but i wish i could figure it out myself and i know i have done put together four computer from stratch before but this one has me beat. On the Powerup case there are two plugs comming from the front of the case and no wheres to put them as i can tell at all and this is the first case i have seen like this with them but they look like the ones that hooks up to a hard drive or cd drive and one just like the others listed but it has only two pins inside it and i have searched thru out the computer as to where it goes but no luck. 2 on the plugs that goes into a HD or CD Drive there are two or three that is a thin black plugs that are slim on the ends. Any help on those and if so i think i will be finished and all i will have to do is install the drives and that's it. I done placed in the pins in the F-Panel and they were hard to reach at that cause my hands are big but i made it anyway and i want to thank you a lot for the help. I will be off part of Sunday cause i have to format this hard drive cause it is running really slow and won't hardly get any pages up and it takes at lease five minutes to do so and no viruses or spyware on here and it could be the hard drive going bad. - I have been down from Saturday thru Monday with problems with this pc but no concerns for this. Ok i have installed the wires as stated above and i put in my HD and hooked it up where it goes but there are a few more questions i hope you can help with. 1. I have brom my powerup case, three connectors, two of them with four pins and one with two pins and they look like the ones that hooks up to a cd drive or HD and i do not see where they will go cause it's not in the book that came with the MB. 2. The HDD i have in there is an SATA drive but the other drive i have is a IDE and is there anyway you can hook that drive up to this MB? 3 also on the Audio wire it shows in the book that it goes toward the back of the MB but the wire isn't long enough but on the right side it says Speakers so would that wite go there when on the wire says audio? And i do not know if they sale anything that you can take an IDE and and make it hook up to the SATA divice on the board. If you will please try and help me and then maybe i can help others also on other matters on this and other forums.

- First of all the hookups like the power cables that comes from the power supply, well these's comes from the case and the ide i will hookup my dvd drives and the ide hard drive i have in this computer an 80 gig will go into the new pc as a master but the SATA drive doesn't have a pins to make it a slave or even a master for some reason but just two pins next to the SATA hookup. The three wires i was saying comes from the case and not the power supply so there isn't any power at all on them and two has four pins and one with two pins or prongs but those three i do not know where they would go at all. On the wire that says audio i have it hooked up to the speakers right now and i tried to put it on the audio pins on the MB but it like about two inches to fit and it's comming from the case as well. On the floppy i know where that goes as well as the dvd drives but i won't use a floppy i don't think in this one unless it comes down to it but i will see. I just wish i could see a diagram with this MB hookup to this kind of a case close up and i know i could have it done in know time at all but with taking online college i do not have much time to spend on it and the school wants me to hurry up and get it running cause i have a lot to put on it where i can't on here and i have two HD's and Two DVD drives, one a reader and one writter and this one here gives me a lot of trouble and i was working on this one the whole weekend cause once i installed everything i had to formate again cause of problems and errors and it just kelp on rebooting a lot and Saturday night i left it on coping and it updated over night and Sunday it was froze at the startup so i need the new one working fast. I want to think you very much for all your help with this and i hope we can get it running very soon.

- The case is a Power Up ATX Mid-Tower with a 450 watt atx power supply. There is no model number but a part number if that will help TC3J-4050 P. I think i know how to hookup the dvd drives but i was over looking one thing that came with the MB in a pack of screws and it hooks up to the speakers it says on the black part that goes on the board but there are four(4) hole pins which is a female i beleive and two wires and on the other end it is round like a bug P. I.'s uses with no hookups at all but on the one comming from the power supply the one that says audio it has one with three holes and one with four and it will fit the one with the three pins like it is on the MB with 1-2 blank and a forth pin. I could scan it and place it some place on the internet so you could see it if you like. I gave you another vote.

- So as for this, there is no way to connect the wires to the Audio i guess?Here are the links i uploaded and you may have to take a real close look at them cause they are small. I will try and stay online today as long as i can but we are going to have some bad weather today as the email said from the tv station and i will not leave this thing on at all during storms and i see the sun is out and some black clouds outside away from here so it's building up i guess. This is the same one but both sides.

- I just got back from Officemax and they didn't have anything like that at all and this town you can't find anything anyway as to say. The pin in question that i didn't send a link for the picture has 4 holes on one side and the other side has 2 and a blank and then one hole but it say's speaker on it. The one that say's Audio is the one that will not reach it's point to connect it to the MB and like the picture looks like, if i plug it in the speaker as it say's on page 10 i beleive, the other end that is round won't fit anything at all on this MB as i have looked time after time. At this time i do not know who to contact, the maker of the MB or the maker of the case since you said you couldn't find anything on it..I guess my best bet is to repack everything and try and send everything back or sale the things i have and Tigerdirect should have told me if i needed anything else but they said the board would fit everything with no problems at all.

- I just checked the MB's website and here are there responce i wrote two weeks ago and got it yesterday it say's. So part is done but the rest is a mess.

1 oo 2 3 oo 4 5 oo 6 7 oo 8 9 o 10

o - are the pins on the PANEL1 header.
the number next to them are the pin numbers.
Pin 10 is the 'key', there is no physical pin.

According to what you have provided:
Power SW (1 ORANGE AND WHITE WIRE TOGETHER) is pins 6 and 8
Power LED+ Green is pin 2.
Power LED White is pin 4
Reset SW 2 WIRES White and Blue together is pins 5 and 7
HDD LED Red and White wires together is pins 1 (red) and 3 (white).

Audio (1 big round white wire); if this is only labeled as audio and only has one wire, we do not know what this is supposed to be.

USB (TWO BIG ROUND WHITE WIRES TOGETHER); Again we do not know what exactly this is supposed to be. USB connections should have a total of 4 wires.

- If you are still here, i got the F_Audio finily in the pins after getting cut on my finger and part of the case is RED now inside but lucky none on the MB. Now all i have to worry about is the picture i showed you and finding an ide to sata adaptor some place and then i hope it will work. I haven't receive anything back from you since early this afternoon and i posted what ECS said also. If you can come up with the help on the speaker gaget let me know.

- They didn't ship that with the HD at all but TigerDirect told me all i had to do was hook the wiring and put in the drives and it's up and running. The usb cable i'm talking about looks just like the power cable that comes from the power supply that hooks upto a ide hard drive or a cd/dvd rom drive and it comes from the case itself. I contacted a place that makes power up cases and i had to send them a link to it but they were saying about the warranty but today i'm calling TirgerDirect by phone and hope this time they will help. I know you have a life just like me, i have five children of my owen by my wife and she had two when we married and we have 23 grandchildren and five out of seven days at lease three to four are here and it's tough when them. I looked also online and i saw a few ide to sata adp's but it was hard to figure which one i would need but i got to thinking last night just to go ahead and use just the one drive in that computer for now and use this one as they say for fun and the other for school but the plugs comming from the case like from the PS has got me stund now and i got to clean up the blood from the inside the case from last night but it will be tight when i put in a card in that slot for sure.

- Ok, Thanks a lot. The reason i have this case is when i bought the barebones kit, it had another MB that came with it and the MB wasn't right for what i needed cause all it had was one slot to put in a hard drive and i could not use a floppy nor a cd or dvd drive so i shipped it back after a call and got another one, MB that is and they said the MB would fit the case just right but i did have a problem when i put it in and the so call paper washers, when i put them on the screw and tried to screw in the screw it would not go in and the screws would not tighten but fall out so i had to take the washers out and i know that's not good but that is the way i have this one cause the screws seems small but that is what came with the MB so i have to do with what i have but i'm goin gto try once more before i hook it up and i tried to call but the lines were busy and i waited for 30 minutes but i will call them later on after i get my work done.

- I Police came out Thursday afternoon and served me papers to be in court Friday for jury dudy so i call TD Friday after i got back but they were closed. I could not get an answer from from ECS at all and a while ago i hooked up the computer and no power running to it at all and tech support is closed today at TD and the only thing i can say is the wiring from the case to the MB has to be wrong I'm giving you a link to a picture that was on paper for this MB and by the way it's telling me i do not understand at all cause it does not say P or N on none of the wire hookups at all and i'm giving you what is says on my wires with the colors and maybe this will help and if not then nothing else to do but return the whole thing. I do hope you can help in telling me what goes where step by step and which pin the wires goes to.

- Sorry but all this was for nothing at all. After placing all the leads and hooking up everything, it turn out the MB was bad also. I returned it and i'm getting another one but a biostar i beleive and my computer i was on went dead as a bat last Monday with one long beep and stop and the long beep again and just kelp on doing that so i had to get my son's computer for a few day.

- I sure hope i don't have this kind of trouble with this one as before. I just received and email and it was shipped last night so it should be in Nashville by early morning and then shipped here to the UPS store and i'm going over there tomorrow afternoon and try my best to get it then besides waiting till receiving it Monday cause that is a long wait and this flu we have here isn't helping us at all and it's making me upset and wanting things right now as a lot of people want's. If there wasn't any bad luck i wouldn't have any luck at all and now i'm tring to find a power supply that will fit my other computer cause it has burned out like i said and i have another MB to fit that one but i have to take it to the shop and have them to soider a piece together and that one will be running. - I'm tired of this as you may also but i got this other MB last night a Biostart A760G M2+ and i got a booklet with the board but it doesn't tell where all the leds goes to either. I looked for the manual for it but you can't download it but on this booklet it also has A780G M2+ at the top and i can get the manual for that one but heres the problem with this. The MB has SPK's but like i said for the other MB the only thing i have it what you seen in the link above and the company doesn't know anything about it and i can not return the case now after tearing off the piece off the back and i'm looking for a PS for my other computer and they don't make those anymore either. Can you shed any light on the questions above to get everything on the leds hooked up?

- Thanks for your replys everyone. I have now a ECS Black Series GF8200A MB cause all the rest turned out bad. Now after i have put this one together it looks like i still have a few problems to work out. 1st when i load a page and scroll down it just scrolls like a page by page slow and it does take long to get to the bottom of every page i go to and that is a trouble. 2nd my dvd writer will not autostart at all and i try to open the dvd or cd from my computer and click on the dvd drive and it sets there a long time and it shows up nothing like theres nothing on the cd or dvd at all and i know there is and i have 10 dvd's in which i have over 800 programs on them and i can't get to look at none of them to install onto this computer so could someone help with these two questions?

- I went and got a new dvd writer today and installed it and it works so i contacted hp but the box it came in isn't the same one cause i must have returned it yesterday alone with the other dvd writer i took back cause the cd that came with it to install drivers and nero was warped bad and hp said they don't have that dvd writer on file but i know that's a lie but i will know tomorrow when i call them again. Well for the scrolling the way it did i installed the cd that came with the new video card and i got it to working right now and it's working find and faster that the other pc i had but i still need to put in the other 1028mb memory stick. Tigerdirect sent me a cable to hookup to my 80gb drive and my dvd drive free since i have had nothing but trouble with the boards i have bought from them since New Years Eve but now i have to find out how that will work on here since the the cable will be hookup to two different drives but i'm going to try it in the morning sometimes after i get all my stuff done but have you ever heard of a cable like that before? I sure haven't and it only has on it CTG:50051. Thanks for your help

- Right now i'm using it on my dvd writer but if i hookup my other ide HD i need it won't detect anyone of the two untill i disconnect one and the maker of that cable was suppose to call me back yesterday but never did.

- Yes the DVD Writer is at Master now and the other HD is disconnected now. If i take the cable and power plug from the dvd drive and hookup the HD it will detect the hd(ide) one alone with the SATA drive but you can't use both ide's at the same time as it seems but i was told i could with this one cable and even by the maker of the cable when they sent me an email yesterday but for some reason it won't either way. thanks

- No not both hooked up at once it doesn't. As for your first responce before the last, it's a very good MB and it detectes the floppy if i have it hooked up but i don't have any power yet on it since i don't really need it yet but as for the bios it does show only one if i have both hookup but maybe something i'm doing wrong some place but after i get rid of this tooth from hurting i will try again and it's not hurting as bad as it did after taking a strong pain med for it and putting on this medicine for it and now i have to find an older power supply for the other computer i have and they don't make them anymore as i was told but i need one to use for downloading.

- I just received a call from the maker of the ribbon cable and he told me the same thing you did in line two, set the HDD as Master and the DVD Drive as slave and if it doesn't work go into the bios and check there to see if the settings are right. If none of the above works then give them a call back and they have an adapter to fit it to make it work but no telling how much that piece will cost cause he said when you try and install things to the newer models things are high so i'm hoping this works. I will try this and get back with you and let you know if this works or not.

- I got it to work at last. I took out the 80gb drive and reset the jumper to master with slave connect as it says on the drive and went into the bios and did one change and it works. I still have one question to ask and i don't know if it would hurt or not but when i did that, on the 80gig drive it placed files on it, windows, documents and a few others also and i checked to see if my favorites were in there also but they wasn't but the question is, would it be safe to delete those files that it placed in there after i hook it up and turned it on cause it is taking up aa little over 5 gigs and if i install a program i bet onto the SATA drive it will place it on there also but just for now just guessing so could you answer this for me?

- The so called i say slave HD disk in which i use just to place files i download or want to keep i put on there and at first there wasn't a thing on it at all cause it was formated when i placed it in here a while ago and when i put it in the computer freash and nothing on it, well that's when those files got on there. That disk was empty so i guess when i placed it in there as a master the files must have just been placed there with the one i had my operating system on. When i had the other computer and i had two hard drives in it, the small one was a master and the 80 gig was a slave, well when i installed windows on the 12 gig nothing was on that 80 gig at all from what i could tell but it placed a restore point and some hidden files on the slave when it was suppose to have been empty and everytime i installed a program on the master part would go to the slave and that did take up some space and i hated that. I will try that tomorrow cause i have done placed some games and programs on there now and they are zipped just to store them and try and keep this 250 gb drive cleaner cause i have to install some big files to use for college in which i was dropped from the other one cause of my problems but now i have to start in the fall and i have 4 years to go if i live that long. I do really want to think you very much for all the help you have gave me on these's boards and hope you can help others as well and i hope i can help people also.

- I have a ECS GF8200A MB now and it was working ok untill last Thursday when i placed a cd in the drive and it had several programs on it to format the HDD, well after running a dos program from the dvd drive i lost my slave HDD and my DVD drive and i can't get the bios to see it but it does say cd/dvd is all but the door on the dvd drive won't open at all nor i can get nothing on my slave drive and alls hooked up the way it was when it was working ok and is there anyway i could get it to see those two drives again?

- No it's the same MB that i got working as stated above but on the xp disk said i needed a clean install and the HDD needed to be wiped clean first but by placing the org xp disk in i could not get a clean install at all and i know it would format the drive but it shouldn't have done anything to the ide HDD and the DVD Writer at all was what ECS said on the phone so they gave me a number and said call TigerDirect and get a replacement so i did that and i'm setting here waiting on UPS to bring it but there is another problem also, the audio went out also. I have tried every plugin from the PS just in case a plugin went bad but none works and i have been thinking it could be the PS that went bad but all fans are turningand i have video on this but it just doesn't detect the second HDD or the DVD. I didn't install the whole disk that had the dos files on it cause i stopped it cause on the disk there were a lot of programs on it so i ran a search on the disk name and found two files and deleted them but still no luck. Thanks for your reply and sorry it took a day to get back to you but when i first posted for the other MB i got an email stating i had a responce for the problem but i don't get anymore when someone replys to this. I will check back later unless the truck comes and start all over again but i will wait about an hour before i start anyway.
