You need to use the adaptor that should've came with it. Plug the micro into the adapter and use like regular sd card in computer.

How do i get the pictures off a auto backup, to a sd card

You need a Card Reader to start with. If you do not have one built-into the computer...go to RadioShack or on line to TigerDirect.com and get a USB Reader. Plug your SD into a slot on the card reader (it will only fit one of many sizes so you cannot make a mistake) and place the reader into the USB slot on the computer. From there you can open MY Computer, locate the USB reader and lift any and all data stored on that SD back to the Computer desktop.

I have a Quantaray SD card reader, I put a SD card in it and it doesn't work. I guess I need a driver or software in my Windows 7

Are you sure it's an SD card? If it's larger than 2GB then it's actually an SDHC card and won't work in devices designed only for SD cards.

Digital media manager with t6426

Which operating system ?

What happens when you tried to plug-in SD card to the computer?

Have you made any recent changes to the computer prior to the issue?

To make the SDHC be recognized by the computer, we need to ensure that the card reader works in Windows 7 first. Please check if the card reader is recognized properly by the computer and you have installed the driver for it.

Meanwhile, you can plug some other storage cards to the card reader and see how it works.

I would suggest you to refer the link below
A Secure Digital (SD) card may not be recognized on a Windows 7 based computer.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981642

Uninstall all the Generic USB drivers and reinstall.

1. Open Device Manager.

2. In "Disk Drives" dropdown, uninstall the "Generic SD/MMC USB device" drive.

3. Restart computer.

4. Insert SDHC card.

Hope this helps.

Installing SD card in desktop

try using an adapter that you can use to put the sd card in and plug it into the USB drive. The only thing I can come up with is either there is a lock on the sd card, or that slot isn't designed for sd cards but for other cards.

I INSERTED THE MICROSD MEMORY CARD IN THE COMPUTER BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT

Most computers do not have a slot for a "Micro" SD card. Instead, those often have to placed inside an adapter that looks like a normal size SD Card. If your SD card looks like the picture below, you should be good to go from the start! Once it is inserted into the computer, click on "My Computer". On older Windows versions, this is a link on your desktop. In newer, click on the Start menu at the bottom left of your screen, then click on the "My Computer" option there. You should see the SD card on that screen below your hard drive.

If, however, your card looks like the smaller SD card on the right in the picture below, please ensure that your computer has a specific slot for this smaller variant of SD card. If it does not, you will need an adapter, shown to the left. In that case, you will plug the small SD card into the adapter, and then into the computer. then go to My computer to see it.

Yes. You can buy a card reader that accepts the SD card on one side and plugs into USB on the other. Here's an example: http://www.amazon.com/ELAGO-Speed-Memory-Reader-Writer/dp/B0028Y9BX8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1298977893&sr=8-7 Cheers!

Where can you use a sd card on a dell inspiron 530

The 530 doesn't have a built in port for the card but you could find one at www.surpluscomputers.com that will read multiple types of cards. Have you tried plugging a USB cable from the camera to the computer and downloaded the info that way?
