ADCOM amplifiers??

Does anyone know the reliability/quality of ADCOM amplifiers. The
particular amp in question is the GFA-4402. My neighbor is interested in
getting one but he hasn't had the opportunity to audition it. He'll be
using it to power his components
(JL Audio VR525CS). I told him I'd ask the experts at RAC for their
opinions.
Any advice is appreciated.

Adcom are good amps. They will run into 1 ohm with no problem. Only thing is
the 4402 is a discontinued piece so it may be hard to find new
