Display says "printing online" but it is not connected to a PC
We cannot get it act just as a fax machine. It will not allow us to print reports; we get no dialing when we send a fax, but it says sending. The other person does not receive it. Incoming will show on the display, but do not come in. Cannot copy, or print reports - printing reports says "printer busy".
Re: display says "printing online" but it is not...
Unplug machine, press and hold down the "stop/exit" key while pluggung back in. continue to hold the button down for 5 secs, then release. if machine returns to the regular date/time display, you should be alright. if not, then you'll have to call brother or an authorized service center. this is usually caused by a fax stuck in memory, which this procedure should clear.
