My BROTHER MFC-640 cw will NOT print cyan, (blue), but for some reason will print pink instead. I called brother about the problem, but because I'm not using a genuine brother ink cartridge, they say they can't help. I've cleaned the ink well and nipple with a ink cleaning solution, but STILL NO results.

hook the pink wire to a toggle switch and ground the switch to the chassis. when the unlawfull screen comes on then turn the switch on for a few seconds then back off for a few seconds then back on and the screen should go away. I done this with mine and it works. unfortunately you have to do this every time.
