Re: Why can't l play DVD's recorded on this recorder on...
During finalising codes are added to the disc so other players can recognise the disc to access the media imformation on the disc sounds like the machine isn,t writing the codes or cant recognise the programme -software,in your machine, does your machine need a software update?,you said it doesnt forget anything else, the lazer energy may also be slightly low not allowing all the data to be transfered to the disc your burning.

take the dvd player plug white, yellow & red (line out) & plug these 3 wires into L1 or L2 in on dvd recorder (note on the recorder you must switch the channel from ch3 to either L1 or L2 to record from the player)....... now place the dvd you want to record in player & a blank dvd in the recorder.......press record (recorder)/ press play on (player)

I live in Australia and have two Samsung DVD/VCR player recorders, DVD-VR375 and DVD-VR355. I could only play Region 4 DVDs until I pressed DVD, with no DVD in the units, pressed Menu then 76884, then 9, inserted a Region 1 DVd and it played in both units. Christina Weate
Maybe the format of your recorded movie didnt support your player..check out your manual for the supported formats and check the format of your recorded movie. If any of the format in the manual matches your movie format then it will definitely play..
please rate my suggestion..
Did you finalize the disk? If not, this should solve your problem. When the disk is finalized you should be able to play it on your computer if you can play other DVDs on it. Some other DVD players can only play specific disks (i.e. DVD-R, DVD+R). This may be another problem.
