Re: texting somone and removing a number
There's no way to remove it unless a master reset is done and if you want it completed deleted from your phone contacts/text list/etc...you will need to make sure the contact is also deleted from your sim card aka smartchip (if you have one)

To increase your chances of recovery TRY NOT TO SEND/ADD ANY MORE
MESSAGES PHONE NUMBERS once you have realized you deleted a message or
If you wish to recover accidentally deleted text messages, contact numbers, call logs or other details from your mobile phones Sim Card then you are going to need to download a good Sim card data recovery program. That is How To Read Deleted Text Messages:
You will require USB sim card reader (any PC/SC Standards or Phoenix Standards based USB Sim Reader) to use the software and successfully recover data (contact numbers and text SMS) from the Sim card of your mobile phone
To use the software you simply connect your USB Card to the computer load up Sim card data recovery and it will allow you to view information including contacts numbers, and deleted SMS text messages along with the date and sending time of the message in simple report format.
this problem is due to the text message service center number text message service center number option is available text message settings in this you can see service center number Note down on any paper as it is (+9198xxxxxxxx) then delete the service center number after deleting create or add the new service center number in this you fill the same number which you note down in your copy save it and go back to main screen then restart your phone your can than send/ receive messages
if it not works go to the shop and get the text message service center number and follow the same procedure but the number you fill is you get from the shop. (NOT THAT NUMBER WHICH YOU NOTE DOWN IN YOUR COPY).
Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....
All finished hope this helps.
if you really, really, REALLY, want to clear the memory of every name/number you have ever sent a text to or whatnot, you can reset your phone to factory settings, but that resets the settings, preferences, wallpapers, profiles, and everything else you have modified.
Have just had a look, and if you scroll down to the first number or name, you are given the option to delete that entry whilst highlighted, by use of rh large key.
As far as removing this option totally, unsure , give me more time, I'll check it out.
thank u so much for trying to help. I guess my message wasnt clear enough though. The phone is not storing my "messages", I'm not having a problem with that, I can clear them, no problem. Its the "recent log" under the "add recipients" that does not clear. The "recent log" stores all the numbers you ever text messaged to. I want to clear the #'s that I've text messaged to, not regular calls, thats easy to clear. For some reason this phone stores all the #'s that you text to. If you can figure it out, i'll give u a million dollars!!! just joking of course.
