Question about Brother HL-4040CN Laser Printer

1 Answer

Documents have what appears to be a bullet on every revolution

There is a small dot that appears on the right side of the documents at every revolution of the printer roller. I changed the toner cartridge and now there is a smudged horizontal line, as well as the small dot. Help!

There might be a fuser issue. The fuser is in the back of the printer. It is possible that toner stuck to the fuser or the fuser is damaged. Its could also be the transfer rollers. Those are the rollers right underneath the print cartridge. but do not touch those with your hands. But check the fuser first it might have to be replaced.

WD My Book- Model: WD5000po32 I can't find the software. I was told to go into WWW.WDC.com I still can't find the backup software.

WD SES driver (32-bit) download, and WD SmartWare Disk Image for Windows,

http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5419/

Western Digital My Book Essential WD5000po32 unplugged from computer, and power off.

1) Under the Download heading to the far right, left-click on the blue -
WD_SES_Driver_Setup_x86.zip

A small window will come up on the right -
Opening WD_SES_Driver_Setup_x86.zip

Make sure there is a green dot in the circle to the left of - Save File
If not, left-click in the circle.

Now go below in the small window, and left-click on OK.

Another small window will come up on the left.
In the heading of this window tells you where the file will download to.

{Note* You can change where the file will go to. I am not including this information at present, so as to not confuse }

In the wording of the heading may be Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads.

{If your computer has Vista, or Win 7 on it, it will be Desktop, Documents, Downloads }

Desktop: The file will be on your desktop screen. (WD_SES_Driver_Setup_x86.zip )

My Documents: Left-click on Start > Then on My Documents.
(Vista and Win 7: Left-click on the Windows logo button, then on Documents )

Downloads: Left-click on Start > Then on My Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

{Windows logo button, Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads}

When you see the file name, DOUBLE-click right on it.

The file is a Zip file. A Zip file, for one, is used to send large amounts of information over the internet.
The file has to be 'unzipped'.

After you double-click on the file, you will be taken to the Unzip Wizard.
Click on Unzip on the right side.

In the next window, (Installation Wizard), go to the far left side, and click on Extract All Files.
Click on Next, Next, and Finish at the bottom.

Now go back to the folder the zip file was in. There will be the yellow folder icon with a zipper on it, and the name of the file, and a yellow folder with the name of the file.

DOUBLE-click on the yellow folder with just the name of the file next to it.
In the names listed DOUBLE-click on WD SES Driver Setup (x86)

The SES Driver Wizard will lead you through installing.
(Left-click on Next, Next, Install, and Finish)

Same procedure for the second file - WD SmartWare Disk Image

I 've probleme with my driver of wi_fi on acer aspir 4333 I want to donwload how and where I have installed on my laptop one driver for wiless last time I want to actived before use

Don't know where you downloaded the last Wi-Fi driver to. Don't worry about it.

Suggest you download again, and this time watch where the file will go.

http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

Left-click on Notebook, then Aspire, then scroll down the sidebar, and left-click on Aspire 4333.

Click on the wireless driver you need. Broadcom or Atheros.

When the small window comes up, make sure there is a green dot in the circle to the left of Save File.
If there isn't a green dot in this circle, left-click in the circle.
Now left-click on OK.

Another small window will come up.
Look in the heading (Top of window) to see where the file will go.

In the heading you may see Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads as part of the heading.
(Desktop, Documents, or Downloads for WinVista, and Win7)

Write it down. This is where the file will download to.

Desktop: The file will be on your desktop screen.

My Documents: Left-click on Start, My Documents. (Or windows logo button, Documents)

Downloads: Left-click on Start, My Documents, and DOUBLE-click on Downloads.
(Or windows logo button, Documents, double-click on Downloads)

When you see the file name, DOUBLE-click right on it.
Follow the instructions of the Installation Wizard.

(Essentially just left-click on Next, Next, and Finish. Do Not change any settings. Windows knows where to put the driver file. Restart your computer)

Abit ab9 pro motherboard diagram

Abit Support > Abit AB9 Pro motherboard > Motherboard manual download page,

http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/download/download_manual_detail.php?pFILE_TYPE=Manual&pMAIN_TYPE=Motherboard&pTITLE_ON_SCREEN=AB9+Pro&pSOCKET_TYPE=LGA775

On this page left-click on the country nearest you
(Asis, Europe, US)
After you click a small window will come up -
Opening ab9_series.zip

Make sure there is a green dot in the circle to the left of Save File.
If not, left-click on the circle.
Now go below, and click on OK.

A small download window will appear on the left.
While it is downloading look at the heading.
It will show the percentage rate of downloading, and state where the file is going.
Example: 50% downloading - Downloads

I just downloaded the file. It is going to a sub-folder within the My Documents folder called Documents.
(WinXP: Start > My Documents > Downloads)
For me I will go to the My Documents folder, then double-click on Documents.
The file may go to the same place for you, or to your desktop screen.

This is a Zip file. You need a program to Un-zip the file, if you do not have one.
If you do not have a program I suggest you download 7-Zip for free.
(Zip files are used to send large files easily)

When you see the file name, Double-click right on it.
Click on Next, Next, and Finish.
You will now see a small window with the file name next to an Adobe PDF icon.
Double-click on it.

If you cannot download this file, let me know in a Comment as to what you wish to know about the motherboard, and I will post back in an additional comment.

joecoolvette.

Red dot seems to disappear when you move the sight right to left or up and down.

You are simply moving the dot out of the field of view.

The Aimpoint is set up to allow you to hit now matter where in the field of view the dot appears. High, low, right, left, it doesn't matter. If you can place the dot on target, your bullet will hit where the dot appears. Too much angle away from the center will move the dot out of your field of view however, This is apparently what is happening to you.

11 blue dots print out down the left hand side of documents

It's probably the toner cartridge again. See if you can spot defects at the cyan drum unit that matches the marks on your printout.
