Hi there
The processor will become critical at around 49c - 54c, but that shouldn't matter.
If you are wanting to overclock it you should be looking at more cooling for the system, a bigger fan and heat sync for example.
also set a fail-safe in the bios for the system to shut down near critical temperature.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!!

Yes it is the temperature which will destroy it, this is why cooling is so important when overclocking processors.

How to use Rosemary connely Yogurt maker

can't find instructions for this particular device but I think the following instructions will be a similar principle of how to work it.

When Making yogurt the start temperature is critical.
you have to get the temperature to the correct temperature to start the culture.
in step three it states . Let the milk cool to 110-115°F.

or 43 Celsius to 46 Celsius this temperature is critical so you must have a thermometer.

Tip

Laptop is turning off by itself.

Hi.

If your computer turns off after idling for a while, then check power saving settings, accessible from control panel.

If laptop turns off while you are using it, try first reinstalling the system to exclude system problems, or test the laptop starting OS from CD or staying in Bios settings mode, so to exclude installed system.

If laptop is still shutting down, then problem may be overheating.

Overheating usually happens when the fan is not coming , therefore when the computer overheats.Or the fan is not cooling enough and computer is overheating.

Monitor computer temperature using a software, check if Fan is coming up when temperature gets critical.

If fan comes up but does not cool enough, then replace the fan, it is not efficient anymore because of a bad bearing or dust. ~Also ensure that fan is well mounted, if fan has poor contact with CPU surface , cooling will be poor.

If fan does not come up, and critical temp is not detected, then the sensor on motherboard is bad, this is very uncommon. When this happens the problem is usually related to system or power settiings , rather than overheating.

If fan does not come up and temp is critical, then fan is faulty, replace it.

There are also more than one fan on many laptops, check that one of the fans (CPU fan, video fan) is not completely ded, and therefore cause for the problem.

By using the software below you can also find out if the problem is really overheating. If temperature results within normal range, then usually it is not overheating. In that case test systtem and check power saving settings.

Here is the software to control your fan and temp. sensor state:

Download SpeedFan 4.38

Cooler keeps freezing product

You killed the messenger! The refrigerant charge is probably the problem. The thermostat senses the coil temperature and not the cabinet temperature. If somebody put gas in it, the gas has to be removed, a vacuum drawn on the system and then the refrigerant charge weighed in by the ounce. It takes a critical charge and needs to be weighed in by an accurate scale that weighs in ounces. Hope this helps and good luck.

Why my asus p5kpl am se motherboard hanged after 10 mintues? Processor 2.8 celeron & Ram1 gb ddr2 800

It's difiicult to diagnose your problem, because It can be produced by a lot of circumstances. Update your drivers with the official asus drivers. You can download it from here-also update your bios-:
http://www.asus.com/Search.aspx?SearchKey=p5kpl
First of all check the memory ram, download memtest from here:
http://www.memtest86.com/
Run that program to verify if the memory is ok. The next step should be a temperature test. Maybe your system gets overheat, hanging after a critical temperature. Run Prime95, you can download it from here:
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=103
Run prime95 for 5 minutes, if your system hangs up during that time, your problem is the temperature-check the fans are running and clean the computer.
If the problem persists, you motherboard should be replaced.

Make, model, serial number of your unit is ... ? I have dealt with capacitors for over 50 years, so I know what I'm doing. But there is no such thing as a five MICROVOLT capacitor, which is what 5uv means to a scientist like myself! Did you mean five micro FARAD, which should be expressed 5uF? But the voltage rating is critical, and the physical size is critical and the temperature rating is critical and the lead diameter is critical and the lead spacing is critical and the style (axial lead versus radial lead) is critical.

My processor's clock speed is 2.53ghz, when i boot up my computer's processor actually runs at a 2ghz clock speed intel ID utility detected it but after 10mins or so my processor's clock speed drops down...

The reason for this is because you CPU needs to run only at 1Ghz at that particular moment. see the more programs you run, the more processing is needed. No if your computer is on Idle then the or have programs like word or excel running the processing is less. so the CPU automatically reduces the processing speed. this way the CPU is energy efficient. you have nothing to worry. this is a feature that Intel has added to the newer generation of CPU's

How do I overclock a Celeron 733mHz PGA370?

You can only overclock your computer if it has ATAPI BIOS. So get into BIOS upon bootup and if you have ATAPI then it will say it across the top. It will also have a section for the CPU with the current speed and an option to change it.
