Question about LG Flatron Ez T710BH 17" CRT Monitor
HEy fella'z i have this weird problem with my monitor...i know it's old and i should get a new one...but i need i still need it since i'm not in position to buy new one yet...
anyway... i've noticed that my blue color is not present or it's very very weak.... so my picture is kinda yellow...and ofcourse bit darker cuz of it...
Now i know there has been some issues with whole series of that monitor.... cuz i've been working in some pc store...and a lot of those monitors broke..same way as mine... and i know that ppl who repaired it said it's something simple...and they just had to burn on (solder) something back ( cuz they didn't do it right at the factory)..it took em 15 minutes to do it... now i don't wanna waste my money and ask someone to repair it... cuz i can do it alone if it's simple... i just wanna know where to start : S
Sorry for my bad english. :/
Its very possible the the tube that produces the blue color has depleted or burnt out. If that is the case then it would have to be repaired or replaced. Im not so sure that its just a solder issue I think it has more to do with the tube itself.
