Only authorised service engineers have schematics to microwave ovens. The reason is that they are extremely dangerous to work on, super high voltage held in the capacitor, the poisonous core of the magnetron and the ability of microwaves to make you blind in 5 seconds. The case is fastened with safety screws for a reason.

Contact the company and ask them for the schematic. Tell them you want to open it up and fix it.

Hi.

The lamp replacement requires complete removal of the oven external casing. The oven must be tested for radiation leakage after the repair. The replacement must be done by a trained technician. Disassembling procedure is illustrated on the service manual available here: Panasonic Service/repair manuals,schematics.

Whirlpool typically supplies a service sheet with schematics for servicing the oven. This is normally located in the compartment where the micro control board is and requires you to removes it to acess it. These service sheets have fault codes and causes on them.

If you are inexperienced at working with electronics I suggest replacing the unit as the cost to have the unit serviced will likely exceed the cost of a new unit.

Problem identified as plastic pushbutton on control panel, solution: interchanged with turntable on/off button (nevrer used). Had paid Miele €115 call out (for person who knew nothing about microwaves), Miele operate a closed shop. Local repair service say Miele will not supply parts, Miele designated repair agent will not repair microwaves, Miele will only send "engineer" to customer, no drop off facility. Was forced into buying new microwave oven from Miele as only way of recouping callout charge. Subsequently had a go myself with above positive positive result - now have a spare microwave cooker.

It is very likely a blown fuse on the inside mounted on the power board. If you are not familiar with electronic schematics or electrical testing in general I suggest taking it to a qualified technician.
