Since you've only had for 2 months, I would contact the seller. If they give you the run around tell them this is unacceptable and you will have to write an honest review on how sorry their products and service is. No company wanted a bad review.
If there is a red squiggly flashing icon on the screen this is actually a repair issue with the camera. The flash charging indicator switch needs to be replaced as it seems to have malfunctioned. Following are the instructions to send your camera to Olympus for service.
Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $133 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.
I found that to be the problem, To many pictures in your folder. My photo explosion deluxe 3 opens up to C/pictures. the program fails, times out, because it takes to long to load all those pictures, I moved my pictures from C/pictures to C/photos folder. You may be able to use any other folder. It worked like magic. Opened fast with no delay. I had installed and uninstalled 25 times or more with no luck. also deleted and folder( u lead ) from the c/ windows/ ulead, while I was uninstalling things.

If this helps you, thank the Lord Jesus.

You should try to be more clear about what "easy launch" buttons you are talking about. I'm guessing you possibly mean on your keyboard(?). At any rate, most launch buttons can be configured and set to what things you want to launch -- so you might try re-configuring them. Logitech software is a huge burdensome set of programs that often takes over in a lot of unexpected ways. If your easy launch is more important to you than some of the Logitech features, you might try uninstalling it and simply using the drivers for your mouse that are already installed in Windows. If you need instructions to do that, repost on this forum.
OK I think your problem may be that you need to install/reinstall the drivers.
Does it show up in Device Manager? If so, Uninstall it, reboot and then reinstall the drivers when, if? XP detects it and asks for drivers.
Hopefully this will sort it. If not, then maybe ya card is faulty.
