Question about Philips DVDR 3355 DVD Recorder
I have looked over a manual and can not seem to find how to do this for looking.
At the moment when I record it shows that I'm recording in divX format and it may not work on other DVD players. I have heard it is possible to change it to record in a different format, I believe you can switch it to other formats such as AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2.
How can you do this?
Page 80 in the manual explains how to make the recording compatible with other DVD players. Page 58 explains about what files can be copied to where. I don't think that you can change the DVD format. However you could use the RGB output to feed a video input card on a PC and then do what you want with it.
