There are 3 things that might be going on:
1-The element is running on one leg of power or is damaged.
2-The reset switch has tripped on the boiler if one is equipped.
3- The pressure stat is not operating properly.

try to change the water in the watertank with warm water, it shouldn`t be hot, but luke warm. Repeat the fill system routin a few times if necessary. If this doesn`t solve the problem, turn off the machine for half an hour or so, and then try again. Usually this is the solution for this problem; warmer water contains less oxygen and helps pushing the air out from the system easier.

If you set proper menu position to "high temp", then i think one of the the boiler heater coils must be broken.

Astoria SAE 1 trickle of water from hot water faucet

Some models have an economiser valve, which mixes hot water from boiler with cold from inlet line, that could be closed or obstructed. The line from the boiler to the solenoid or the pipe inside the boiler could be blocked.
