-   same issue here with SG5. Recognizes the caddie on my port, but won't sync and redirects me to the software download page. Very, very frustrating!!! -   Guest

-   I cannot get the Sync to work. It does not recognize that a Sky Caddie is plugged in to the computer. I cannot find a number for tech support and no one answered my e mail. **** -   radur

-   This is without a doubt the worst software I have ever seen. Downloading to the sky caddie is EXTREMELY difficult and time consuming. Don't buy one of these if you can find an alternative -   Guest
What version of Windows Vista do you have? Check to ensure you have either Windows Vista 32 or Windows Vista 64 bit versions. I called and got a link the the Windows Vista 64 and everything worked great. You just have to call tech support and tell them what version of Vista you have.
I have the G5, I cannot get to correspond with my computer when hooked up. The tech told me my usb port is shot, don't really believe this cause every thing else I have works in the usb port. Any sujestions?? Thank You, Rod
Try right clicking on the caddiesync icon and the run as administrator. Certainly worked for me on Windows Vista Home. Tech department were very helpful. Phone 01865 876 469 and go to technical department. Phil

My sg2 keeps telling me "power reset required" I do it and then this same message keeps showing up. I can not use the sync on my computer, and it will not work on the golf course. My last 2 rounds before this message started to show up, I recieved a low batt message, even though I just took the unit off of charge. Sky caddie wants me to send it in for repair $35- $100. I was thinking, should I buy a new battery? Thanks Vinnie
I have a SG2 SkyCaddie that I have had and have been using the old software for the past three years. I just loaded the 'new' CaddieSync software onto my Windows XP Media machine. Following the instructions, I get to the point where the information line says I am 'Communicating with SkyGolf' and it just hangs. After several minutes the 'window' reverts to the 'download' window.
This morning I solicited help from SkyGolf Support and they attempted to help me for almost two hours without resolving the problem. I had to go golfing. This afternoon I still can't get any further.
It doesn't appear that it is going to let me 'Sync'...
