Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
I was booting up my laptop, it was powered on for approximately 15 seconds. Plugged into the mains. Then... I am notsure there was a popping sound or whether that was the speakers losing power, but the entire thing just cut out. The mains is not getting through - the green light on the power unit flickers when it is plugged into the laptop but stays solid when not plugged in, and the laptop is not responding at all to anything.
It sounds like the motherboard has been damaged. Might of been a short circuit some where.
