You cant change your ip yourself, the ip is provided from you internet-provider, but you can go via proxy servers and that way get different ip:s
Or via anonymus server who dont shows your ip at all

How can I connect to internet using Window7

first of all fine the ip address of your router. Mine, for instance, is 192.168.1.1 yours may be slightly different then follow the below steps. I should just explain, before we start, that the IP address of your router is the number you must type into the browser s address barr to access the control software. anyway, follow below directions.....

How to retrieve a password or change the password for a wireless network from the router

Get an ethernet cable and plug your computer to the router with it..Click on your browser and in the address bar type the IP address for your particular router. (You can find this by googling the make and model of your router and the wordsIP ADDRESS.)

you will then be presented with the page after which you will have access to the router's control software. The page asks for username and password, they should, if they have not been altered from default, both be the word admin

Having entered these and pressed the enter button you should be in the control menus. Look for the wireless networking option, find it , click on it and you should find yourself in a screen on which your network's ID, (also known as SSID,) and password are displayed.
There may or may not be the option of turning the radio / wirelesssection off
temporarily...if it is available click on it to stop the wireless from broadcasting...if the option is not listed it obviously cannot be done!
Next, highlight the network password and delete it, then insert your new password, making a note of it and remembering that it will be case sensitive.
Make sure you SAVE THE CHANGES
Next ... If you have shut wireless/radio down reactivate it.
Then exit the utility.
Advanced users might want to create a password for getting into the router.
Anyway, after having exited detach the ethernet lead and click on your browser and click on the wireless networking/connection icon in the system tray, highlight your network and click on the connect button. You will then be presented with the option of entering your new password which should be entered exactly as you wrote it when in the router. You should, after a wait of a few seconds, be connected to the internet. Hide the new password and your ethernet cable if you have not put a new admin password on the router.
Then, BOBS YOUR UNCLE.

When I download a game or other thing it will come up and read cant open files

If these downloads are downloaded in a ".rar" ending file, you need to first extract that folder onto your computer. If the actual game itself is an ".iso" file, you need to google how to open ISO files. It's very simple, just very hard to explain when others do such a better job in less amount of time. =)

I have an 'invalid IP address' error message on a PC and would like a solution, if possible!

Depends on what type of ip address it is. If it is a static ip address then you'll have to manually change it. If it is DHCP then click on "start", click on "run" and type "command" and hit enter.
On your dos prompt type "ipconfig /release" and "enter" then type "ipconfig /renew" and "enter" you'll get a new ip address. Let me know if you have any questions.

How can i get a picture from one of my folders to email it to someone?

Most email programs have an 'insert' function. Click on it, then find the photo you want and click on it then OK. The image is then an attachment to the email.

I have application error 302

Introduction
Your Web server thinks that your URL has been temporarily redirected to another URL. The client system is expected to immediately retry the alternate URL.
302 errors in the HTTP cycle
Any client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) goes through the following cycle when it communicates with your Web server:
  • Obtain an IP address from the IP name of your site (your site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs).
  • Open an IP socket connection to that IP address.
  • Write an HTTP data stream through that socket.
  • Receive an HTTP data stream back from your Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information.
This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '302'.
Resolving 302 errors - general
The 302 response from your Web server should always include an alternative URL to which redirection should occur. If it does, a Web browser will immediately retry the alternative URL. So you never actually see a 302 error in a Web browser, unless perhaps you have a corrupt redirection chain e.g. URL A redirects to URL B which in turn redirects back to URL A. If your client is not a Web browser, it should behave in the same way as a Web browser i.e. immediately retry the alternative URL.
If the Web server does not return an alternative URL with the 302 response, then either the Web server sofware itself is defective or your Webmaster has not set up the URL redirection correctly.
Resolving 302 errors - CheckUpDown
Redirection of URLs may occur for low-level URLs (specific URLs within your Web site such as www.isp.com/products/index.html) when you reorganise your web site, but is relatively uncommon for the top-level URLs (such as www.isp.com) which most CheckUpDown users ask us to check. So this error should be fairly infrequent.
The 302 response from your Web server should always include an alternative URL to which redirection should occur. If it does, CheckUpDown automatically tries the alternative URL. This in turn may possibly lead to another redirection which CheckUpDown then tries. This continues for a maximum of 5 redirections. As soon as 5 redirections have occurred, CheckUpDown gives up and reports the 302 error for your account. So you should only ever see the 302 error if 1) your Web server gives no alternative URL on the 302 response or 2) the number of redirections exceeds 5. This second condition should be fairly unlikely - and may indicate a recursive pattern e.g. URL A redirects to URL B which in turn redirects back to URL A.
You first need to check that the IP name we use to check for your account is accurate. If you or your ISP have configured something so that any access using this name should now be redirected to another name, then you need to update your CheckUpDown account to start using the new name.
If you believe that the IP name we use is exact (should not be redirected), please try accessing the current URL using a Web browser. Note carefully which URL actually gets displayed, because your browser may silently switch to a substitute URL if it receives an 302 message from your Web server. If you see any evidence of a new URL, try accessing that directly from your browser. If this works (you see your Web site as expected), then this new URL is what you may need to update on your CheckUpDwon account. If this is a temporary redirection, then you may also need to reinstate the original IP name at a later date when the redirection is no longer effective.
If none of the above help, we can analyse the underlying HTTP data streams we receive from your Web server. These can provide additional information about the new URL(s) which your Web server thinks we should be accessing. Before doing this, we prefer you to identify any deliberate changes on your side, liaising with your ISP if needs be.
302 errors should occur infrequently, because top-level URLs do not change often. If they do change, then this is typically because a redirection URL is being suggested. This pervasive change is unlikely to occur by accident, so most often we can resolve this error by updating our system records for your account following a deliberate change of URL on your part, whether this change is temporary or permanent.

Swaping from 'c drive' to 'd drive'?

Hello,

Print this off first, as you'll have to reboot a couple of times.

Most of your space is taken up by three things.
1.) Your Swap File
2.) The System Restore Files
3.) My Documents Folder

First, Right Click My Computer, select Propertis, choose the System Restore Tab, move the slider to the left so that the current number is reduced by half. You'll be prompted to reboot as you exit out of My Computer

Go ahead and reboot.

Next is your swap file.
Right Click My Computer, select Properties, choose the Advanced Tab, click on the Performance Button, in the Virtual Memory section click on the Change Button. You want to create a Swap File on D, this should be twice the size of your Ram Modules installed. You'll need to make this size on D the same for minimum and maximum (that makes it a permanent swap file). You ALSO need to reduce the size of the swap file on C but it has to be at least 16MB for minimum and maximum.

Now, create a folder on D: called My Documents
Copy all contents of your current My Documents on C: over to the new one on D:
Once you have done this reboot and make certain your files are on D: alright
Now, right click My Documents and type in the text box D:\My Documents

And, reboot

Right click the My Documents folder on your desktop and verify it is now pointing to the D drive.

If it is pointing to the new folder you may delete the My Documents files on c:
You'll find it at C:\Documents and Settings\[your login name]\My Documents. Delete the contents but not the folder.

Now its time to defrag C: as you have all this extra free space.

Best Regards,
Worldvet
