I cannot locate vacuum bags for my Euro Pro 790 Shark Canister!

I cannot locate the bags anywhere!! I am stuck with a vacuuum cleaner with no bags. I believe the company does not make this model any longer, but it is pretty bad that they still have customers with these machines and cannot find the bags. My vacuum is nt that old!

This is a Euro-Pro Shark Model #709 Roadster Canister Vacuum. I have looked everywhere on the internet. I had a problem the last time that I ordered, so I finally got some bags thru a local vacuum cleaner store here in my city. They had to order from their supplier, and the process took about 6 weeks. This time, their supplier cannot find them either.

Yes, I have Googled for hours. It brings up this model, but when I click on the different sites, this bag cannot be located anywhere. Bags for every vacuum can be purchased, except this one! i have exhausted all resources. I guess I will have to use the vacuum as a big paper weight and purchase another one. The new vacuum will certainly not be this brand!

Thank you for the 1-800 number. I called and they are closed for the day. Will try again tomorrow. The Model number is EP 709. There are no other numbers. It is a Euro-Pro Model 709 Shark Roadster Canister vacuum. EP may not be making them any longer. I have tried to find the machine on the internet because then perhaps I would be able to find the bags. No luck. When I do find the EP709, it states the item is unavailable.

Yes, it is Shark EP709 Compact Vacuum Cleaner. and I found the site last night and ordered the bags at the website. So far, I have not received an email back saying thay are out of stock or unavailable (like in the past). Maybe soon, I will not be bagless. Thanks everyone!

What kind of vac is it? You listed this under a Roper Gas Dryer.

Can you post the brand and model of your vacuum cleaner? You seem to have posted this in a dryer section.

You have to put it in like this: EP709 to get results. If you use lowercase or put a space, nothing comes up. (It took me about 5 minutes to figure this out....)

This is the direct link to the bags:
http://www.sharkvac.com/productDetails.aspx?ProdID=LJK8vNj9Ulo%3d

hopefully it will get you there.

I ordered three packs of bags because this process is such a nightmare.
I'm really hoping I ordered what I think I ordered. It's not very easy to tell....

There are specialty vacuum centers around. You may have to call and have them ordered. Just "Google" your brand and vacuum bags and you should find them. If you are in a fairly large town, you probably have a center that has those. Try Best Buy, they carry them also. Last resort, call the company that makes the v.c. and they will help you. I have used a similar model's bag in mine before and it worked pretty well until I could get the right ones.

I just went to google and typed in euro pro 790 shark canister. It brought up all kinds of sites. Because they are hard to find, it may take some time looking for it. But they can be found. The only other suggestion is get another one(vc) and be done with it. I know this can be aggravating.

I have contacted through several people the number for Euro Pro. They have a number which is 1-800-798-7395. It will come on in French but will give you an option for English which I believe is 2. You will then press I believe "1" for services. Have the vacuum cleaner with you when you call her. She could find it when I gave her the number 790 or 709. She will need the full model number when you talk to her. Let me know how you do on this.

I have a ge model# gtdx100emoww electric dryer that will only work if the start button is held in. Once released it stops.

Yep, it's the start/run switch at the motor, can get stuck with lint after a long time. It's actually not too difficult to change, make sure you note the location of every wire. Clean everything real good with a vacuum cleaner, get all the lint dust out of the motor, etc.
Cleaning may free the switch, and there should be a drawing showing how to put the belt back on, otherwise, make a drawing.

You can purchase net bags that are designed to avoid exactly that problem - you put your items inside the bag and put the bag in the dryer.

Search ebay for 'laundry net bag'

Hope this helps.

We have a 2 part canister vacuum cleaner by GE. the roll brush spins, but as soon as it hits the floor it doesn't seem to have enough power to keep spinning. It is TOTALLY cleaned out.

Remove the brush assembly from the sweeper head--remove the end bearings (noting placement) and remove all thread, string, and hair that is wound around the brush and it's ends. Clean the pin bearing ends and the insides of the outer bearings with WD-40 and a Q-Tip or similar. Apply one drop of light oil (3-1 or similar) to each outer bearing and reassemble. If the drive belt has not been replaced, do so. Clean both the motor shaft and the belt path on the brush with rubbing alcohol. Make sure the belt is reinstalled as the original was. Hope this helps!

Dryer starts, tumbles once and shuts off?

I had the same issue. Make an attachment for your vacuum cleaner that can fit in the space where the lint-filter goes. Unscrew the screen and vacuum deeply and thoroughly (use a long screwdriver to loosen stuck-on lint in the bottom). Next, Open up the bottom panel (it's easy- just two screws) and vacuum out all that lint, too. FINALLY- release the exhaust system (usually a coil connected to an outside wall) and shake all the obstructions loose and discard the lint. Turn on the dryer with it disconnected and let the air push more lint out. Hope this helps

Dryer will not heat

heating element might have gone out or the exhaust might be clogged. I took my vacuum hose and stuck it up the exhaust ( I think that's what it's called) and got a canister and a half of lint out. Then my dryer worked fine.

Empty water button staying on

Remove lower left filter from dryer, and wash it out under running water. Reach inside the compartment and clean any fluff and gunge you can find there.
Get a plastic bag tie or similar, and feel for and locate a small hole at the rear of compartment, poke it clear with bag tie.
If you are certain that the element and stats are o/k , and it still does not heat and the light stays on, then that indicates that the float switch is stuck or is faulty.
To access this involves stripping the dryer down, not an easy job.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Lint is stuck in the back of dryer

Un plug the dryer, disconnect the vent and reach in the hole and pull the lint out. Put a bag on the end or somthing to catch the lint. Turn on the dryer and blow the lint out. This is a pretty good indictor that you vents on the house are clogged. Maybe time to get them cleaned. thanks Dave www.washermd.com
