Problem for Roper RGS7646KQ Gas Dryer

Roper dryer no heating properly

My Roper #RGS7646KQ2 ignites sometimes on low and high temp. and not at all med.
When it does light it will only stay lit about 5-10 min.

- lint trap is completely clean

Have you checked the lint trap and made sure the entire exhaust is clean? You may have a bad control switch that won't allow it to ignite on medium. The bigger problem is the short time cycle. Something is telling it to shut itself off for safety reasons.
