Calendar Time Sync problem with outlook

Hi,
I'm trying to Sync my SGH-D600 with Samsung's PC Studio v3.2.2 HG5 and MS Outlook. All I am trying to Sync is the Calendar.
Data gets transferred and put in the calendar on the phone, but the time is imported as 13hrs earlier than what it should be.
I can't figure out why it is syncing with a completely incorrect time?
Anyone else got this problem? or a solution?

cheers,
Lee.

My phone did the same thing for a few weeks except it was backdating every appointment by 11 hours, and I tried everything I could think of eg changing from 12 to 24 clock time on the phone, re-installing PC Studio, then full forced PC Sync that deleted all phone data and replaced with PC data. I even tried setting a new time zone for the phone that would compensate for the 11 hour backdating and still the problem persisted. It works fine the other way when I recorded appointments in the phone and did PC sync to the laptop ie same and correct time on both phone and PC. However it is almost academic now as the phone has decided not to work at all - ie won't get past the initial screen which blinks on a regular 5 second basis, so unable to be used. Sorry I am no help other than as someone who has experienced the same problem. I fear the date issue was a warning that the software had glitch which came to a head today

My D600 cannot get past the SGH - D600 screen on start-up and then just repeatedly blinks with that image. Cannot do anything with it (calls SMS or anything else) and have to remove battery to shut down. Dealer costs to diagnose and long distance delivery are high so thinking of chucking it and buy another phone as no certaintly prblem can be sorted. Any suggestions/possibilites to fix at home?

Hi. The same problem with my D880. But as my time zone in PC is only +2 GMT, I have only these 2hours mismatch. I guess this is because when transfering time from PC to mobile, PC subtracts 2 hours, but mobile doesn't adds these 2, despite the time zone is set the same. Perhaps bad mobile soft... :(

I have the same problem with my D880.

All apointments in my outlook calendar are synchronized to my phone, but appear 1 hour earlier in the phone calendar.

I also tried reinstall, delete all apointments from the phone and sync again, switching between time zones (mine is GMT+1).

    No luck so far...

I also tried to sync with my Mac, using iSync and this works perfectly. (but I need Outlook for my business appointments, so I would be really happy if someone has a solution).

    Hi There.
I'm facing the same problems w/ my Samsung U900 Soul. All calendar events simply ignore the time-zone difference that is considered in Outlook calendar....so consequently, the events in my cell appear +3 hours then it should (my time zone is -3GMT).

I tryed almost everything, dunno what to do next. I will give up.

Ipaq h2210 won't sync with desktop

Usually the simplest solution with Microsoft software such as active-sync is to uninstall it and install it again from scratch. When you reinstall it will ask you what programs you want to sync with, your old PIM software has been lowered in priority in favour of Outlook because MS think everyone should want to use it, so it's often easier to start using Outlook as your main PIM.

Sync problem with Outlook Public calendar

Hi Brad,

By default, it won't sync the company shared calendar. This is in fact very hard to do. You will need to speak the guys in your IT department about a product to sync your calendar with the company one. If you use Exchange server, then you may wish to look towards a product such as 'SlipStick'...

Sync Outlook 2000

You can transfer your contact list, but not your calender. Here are the steps to take to successfully transfer your contact list from outlook 2000 to the iPhone:

1. In Outlook, export your contact list as a Comma Separated Values (Windows) file
2. In windows accessories, launch Address Book
3. Import into Windows Address Book the file you created in step one
4. Now back in iTunes, sync your iPhone contact list with Windows Address Book

You contacts should come over intact.

Sorry, but there is no solution that I know of to import Calendar events.

MS Outlook syncs calendar, notes but not contacts

Click on the hotsync icon in your system tray and then click "custom". That will bring up the list of things you are configured to sync with (conduits). For each of the ones you have problems with, click that conduit and then make sure it's set to sync the way you want...desktop overrides, handheld overrides, syncronize, etc. Potentially you have some of them selected as "do nothing". What shows up when I click custom from hotsync are the following Outlook Conduits: Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Memos. If you don't have those showing up, you need to update your Outlook conduits on your PC. If you have them, click to select the problem conduit, then click "change" and select what you want to have happen.
