I can not erase the recipients from the text messaging. sent to-recent que on the LG Rumor which I purchased from Sprint. Sprint tech could not help and I was advised to call LG, I was told by LG customer service that it had to do with Sprint. I was further told that has to with the software and that there is no way to erase information. Any idea how to ?
Hi...I have been trying to figure this out myself for weeks now...I finally found the answer....if you haven't yet, here's how to take care of it...go to messaging, send message, voice sms, recent list, options, and delete the ones you want or all of them...this was a lifesaver for me..hope it helps.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

the only way i found that would work will erase all of your text messages as well. go to your MENU, click SETTINGS, go to MORE, then SECURITY, enter your code (if you haven't set up a code, it will be the last four digits of your mobile number), choose DELETE/RESET, click DELETE MSSAGES, and choose YES. like i said, it will erase all of your text messages too but it deletes the recent contacts. hope it helps!
THIS WORKS!! This will erase ALL phone numbers saved by text messaging. Go to tools and settings... Select settings.... Select more.... Select security.... Enter lock code, if you have not changed it, it is either 0000, or the last 4 numbers of your phone number... select erase reset... Select erase messages... Select yes. You have no saved numbers under text messaging if you followed these steps. My pleasure.
LG Rumor 2: Go to Menu>Tools & Settings>Settings>More>Security>enter the lock code(last 4 digits of the phone number if it hasn't been already changed by the user)>Erase/Reset>Erase Messages. Your text recipients will be erased but so will your messages.
Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....
All finished hope this helps.
Go to the messaging menu choose send message then go to Voice SMS or Picture Mail, okay then choose Recent List there you should see the recent contact you have texted to select the ones you want to delete and press options there you can delete the selected or delete all.
I took a wack at it and it took me an hour to figure it out.
