Top Plates Do Not Stay Up As They Should

The lift up top plates on this grill are designed to stay up without holding yet over time no longer do so. The exposed alan head bolts seem only to hold the handles and such in place and do not affect the tension of the unit. Please help...

Follow Up From Postee: Determined that by simply removing the back cover (phillips Head Screw) that there is a brass clamp over the pivoting bar that has an alan head screw on either side. Simply tighten both sides and the lid will stay up. Done.
